Ron DeSantis dropped a truth bomb on Gavin Newsom

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is ready to give the Golden State math lessons.

Ron DeSantis and Gavin Newsom are two of the most prominent Governors in the United States.

But the two couldn’t be further apart politically and are frequently at odds.

And now America’s Governor dropped a truth bomb about Gavin Newsom’s stealth steal attempt.

Florida provides the red print for other states to emulate

There may be no politician in America who is better at actual governing than Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL).

The man has led his state with a strong conservative-populist agenda.

His model has resulted in a population boom for the Sunshine State and the state turning from purple to deep red.

Despite not being on the ballot this past November, DeSantis scored a couple of election victories to add to his legacy.

He led the fight against two ballot initiatives, one overturning the state’s ban on abortions after six weeks, and one legalizing recreational marijuana.

While similar efforts have passed all over the country – they failed in Florida.

DeSantis and his two Republican Secretaries of State, first Laurel Lee, followed by Cord Byrd – have created the blueprint for fast and reliable ballot counting that other states should follow.

Despite having the third largest population in America, and having a large English as a second language constituency, Florida was called just a couple hours after polls closed and the state finished counting ballots just a couple hours after that.

The same could not be said for many states.

And the state that seems to have the most difficulty counting is California.

California’s struggle with the simple task of counting

California state law allows 30 days to count ballots following an election.

And Governor Gavin Newsom (D-CA) is taking every last second of his time allotment.

Thanksgiving leftovers have all been finished off, and yet California is still counting votes from November 5.

And Americans are still waiting for the results from the Golden State’s 13th Congressional district in the Central Valley.

Representative John Duarte (R-CA) is locked in a tight race against former Democrat state legislator Adam Gray.

But the long and winding road of a ballot count is leading to some concerns.

In fact, Governor DeSantis is calling out the delayed results combined with the convenient uptick for Democrats.

“We are on the eve of Thanksgiving and California still hasn’t finished counting votes,” DeSantis tweeted just before Turkey Day. “Post-election day ballot ‘dumps’ continue to net Democrat votes over two GOP incumbents. This may reduce the Republican majority in the US House to a razor thin 220-215. What a farce.”

It is important to note, the late California ballot dumps that favored Democrats ran contrary to not only trendlines across the United States, but also in California, where Trump gained about 9-points worth of ground and flipped at least eight counties from blue to red.

Ron DeSantis vs. Gavin Newsom

This is far from the first time DeSantis and Newsom have tussled.

DeSantis survived a legal battle after Democrats in his state followed Newsom’s lead, after Newsom said DeSantis was “kidnapping” illegal aliens by providing them with free flights out of Florida.

DeSantis bashed California’s radically woke Governor after Newsom paid for ads inside the Sunshine State to bash Florida and promote California.

And the two even met in a debate hosted by Fox News Channel’s Sean Hannity.

It was dubbed the Red State vs. Blue State debate.

Any honest observer who watched the full debate would have to admit that it was a one-sided affair with DeSantis skewering his elitist rival.

Throughout the debate, DeSantis used Newsom’s own record against him.

America’s Governor did an expert job explaining all the problems the leftism Newsom champions has brought to the people of the Golden State.

And he even reminded the audience that Newsom’s own father-in-law fled the Golden State for the Sunshine State.
