Democrat-run cities and states can be depressing.
That goes doubly for business owners.
And Ron DeSantis may have another company about to go animal with a move to Florida.
Companies want what Florida has under Governor Ron DeSantis.
Rumble, a video hosting service, and free speech competitor to YouTube recently announced it was relocating its U.S. headquarters to Longboat Key, Florida and planned to invest $50 million dollars in the state.
Now, the large burger restaurant famous for its “animal style fries” may be on the move as well.
Due to petty tyrants in California’s Bay Area pushing In-N-Out to close stores because they won’t implement Joe Biden’s absurd vaccine mandate, In-N-Out is trying to expand into Florida.
The Post Millennial reports:
“Lynsi Snyder-Ellingson, owner of In-N-Out, has reportedly had a ‘productive conversation’ with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis following the closure of multiple restaurant locations in California’s Bay Area following their refusal to enforce the state’s vaccine requirements for customers . . . Multiple In-N-Out locations have been closed after the chain refused to comply with local vaccine mandates required for customers.”
DeSantis’ press secretary, Christina Pushaw, remarked of In-N-Out:
“Vaccination should be a personal choice to protect oneself from serious illness, not a mandatory condition of participating in society . . . There is no reason for a fast food restaurant to be forced to require proof of vaccination from customers.”
…“Florida also has some of the best farms and cattle ranches in the country, and the governor discussed this with the president of In-n-Out . . . If they can identify suppliers for all their ingredients here, which we believe is possible, In-N-Out could expand to Florida. Governor DeSantis is willing to help with this and would welcome this great company to Florida, the best state to do business.”
This would be yet another failure for the Democrats if Florida gets In-N-Out.
California’s progressives are bullying yet another firm, and many more have already fled.
Arnie Wensinger, the company’s chief legal and commercial officer, stated:
“We refuse to become the vaccination police for any government… It is unreasonable, invasive, and unsafe to force our restaurant associates to segregate customers into those who may be served and those who may not, whether based on the documentation they carry, or any other reason.”
Finally, more and more individuals are opposing the Biden administration’s lunacy.
