There’s no doubt that the 2022 Midterms will go down in history as the Ron DeSantis election.
In just four years the Governor turned the state of Florida from a battleground “toss-up” state to the biggest Republican stronghold in America.
And Ron DeSantis threw Joe Biden a major curveball with this jaw-dropping offer.
Throughout the 2022 Midterms, President Joe Biden kept a much lower profile than his predecessors.
Of course, that wasn’t exactly President Biden’s choice, as his approval rating is so low and so many Americans believe the nation is on the wrong track, Democrat candidates refused to appear with him.
In fact, Biden made multiple visits to key battleground states, like Pennsylvania, in which he simply appeared alone because Democrat candidates couldn’t afford to be connected to him.
But while the party worked overtime to relegate the President to appearing only in races they felt were very safe, Democrats did make one head-scratching decision late in the campaign cycle.
Despite having an approval rating well below 40% in Florida, President Biden was fully embraced by Democrat Gubernatorial Charlie Crist in his quest to unseat incredibly popular incumbent Governor Ron DeSantis.
Apparently, after losing statewide races in the Sunshine state as a Republican and Independent, Crist made the decision to go all-in on embracing Biden to boost his radical left-wing bona fides.
And as you would expect, Governor DeSantis couldn’t have been happier about that decision.
“I think it’s an in-kind contribution to my campaign,” DeSantis said of Biden’s Florida appearance in the closing days of the Midterms. “And I just want to make the offer publicly – we will underwrite him to stay in Florida for the rest of the campaign.”
“If Joe wants to stay, it’ll be on our dime and we’d love for the people of Florida to be reminded that the Democrats in this state are with Biden,” he concluded.

In the end, DeSantis didn’t need President Biden to remind the people of Florida anything.
The Governor, as well as Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL), was re-elected by overwhelming margins of nearly 20%, as DeSantis led Republicans to massive victories up and down the ballot throughout the state.
Ultimately, in a Midterm election that egg on the faces of both the Republican establishment and former President Donald Trump, Governor DeSantis was the clear winner.
And now, Joe Biden is no longer looking over his shoulder at just Donald Trump but Ron DeSantis too.
And if the attacks DeSantis is getting from the establishment and Democrats’ pals in the media elite and Hollywood are any indication DeSantis’s ascendancy has officially begun.
