The Supreme Court allowed Joe Biden’s authoritarian federal vaccine mandate for health care workers to stand.
Justice Brett Kavanaugh and John Roberts voted with the Court’s three liberal justices to hand Biden the win.
In an appearance on the “Ruthless Podcast” Florida Governor Ron DeSantis blasted Roberts and Kavanaugh for selling out in this key case.
“But on the medical, on the nurse mandate and the doctor mandate, Roberts and Kavanaugh joined with the liberals to allow the nurse mandate,” DeSantis stated.
DeSantis explained the insanity of the decision stating that hospitals are firing healthy doctors and nurses who have natural immunity but refused to take the vaccine while allowing COVID positive workers to treat patients.
“Now they’re so short-handed, they’re actually bringing back to work nurses who are COVID-positive. They are vaccinated, but we know that’s not stopping it. So they have COVID-positive people back on,” DeSantis began.
“Meanwhile, the unvaccinated, likely immune through prior infection, healthy nurses are on the sidelines, fired. How insane are these policies?” DeSantis added.
Governor DeSantis declared that under Florida state law vaccine mandates were unenforceable and that no doctor or nurse would lose their job for refusing to take the vaccine.
“What [President] Biden’s doing with this CMS mandate, we’re going to enforce our protections here in Florida, but what that’s going to lead to in other states that haven’t done what we’ve done, that’s going to lead healthy nurses to be put on the sidelines while we have an acute healthcare shortage,” DeSantis explained.
DeSantis then stated the stone cold truth that the Biden vaccine mandate for health care workers only stood because Justices Kavanaugh and Roberts lacked a “backbone.”
“Honestly, Roberts and Kavanaugh did not have a backbone on that decision,” DeSantis stated. “That’s just the bottom line.”
