Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis had one of the strongest nights of anyone in the 2022 elections.
But even before then, the left-wing machine was trying to bring down the rising star of the right.
From the time President Joe Biden took office to the end of October, more than 5.5-million illegal aliens have crossed the U.S. Southern border.
It’s become known as the U.S. Southern Border Crisis – and with every passing day of the Biden administration the crisis inches closer to epic proportions.
According to the Federation for American Immigration Reform, 4.4-million illegal border crossers were caught by U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
Another 1.1-million were “gotaways” who had entered the country and escaped apprehension.
As one part of a multi-faceted approach to solve it, some Republican Governors along the U.S. southern border began sending the border crossers to “sanctuary cities” in blue states.
A so-called “sanctuary city” is a municipality where policies protect illegals from deportation or prosecution, despite federal immigration law – or in other words, cities that deliberately ignore and disobey federal immigration laws.
A more accurate name for them would be, “harboring havens.”
But now that they’re getting a taste of their own medicine, politicians in these harboring havens are crying foul and can’t stop complaining about the tactics of Governors Greg Abbott of Texas, Doug Ducey of Arizona and Ron DeSantis of Florida.
One of the harboring havens receiving a load of illegal migrants is Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts.

Immediately, just like in other harboring havens, the far-Left politicians and community organizers in Martha’s Vineyard had complete breakdowns.
Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom of California even went as far as calling for Ron DeSantis to be charged with kidnapping and human trafficking.
Florida Democrat State Sen. Jason Pizzo took Newsom’s advice and filed a lawsuit calling DeSantis’ relocation program unconstitutional.
However, Leon Circuit Judge John C. Cooper of Florida has dismissed the lawsuit.
Judge Cooper contended there were not enough specific details in the lawsuit that showed the program was unconstitutional.
He also suggested he was unsure whether the litigation — filed primarily against DeSantis as well as the head of the Department of Transportation — was aimed at the correct individuals.
He did, however, leave the door open for it to be refiled, dismissing Pizzo’s case without prejudice.
DeSantis said at the time, the voluntary relocation of illegals to blue areas proves the Left’s talk about caring for migrants is nothing more than virtue signaling.
“Martha’s Vineyard said that they are a sanctuary, they should go to sanctuary states and jurisdictions,” DeSantis said at the time of the move. “We’re not a sanctuary state in Florida. I couldn’t accommodate it if I wanted to. I’ve got enough refugees coming in from blue states fleeing that bad policy. Think about it: These border towns are poor, most of them are poor. And they’re getting overrun with thousands of people. They don’t have the infrastructure.”
DeSantis pointed out Martha’s Vineyard couldn’t even tolerate the 50 migrants sent to them, so the leftists had them rounded up and sent them to a near-by military base.
