Members of the British Royal Family live their lives in the fishbowl of public scrutiny.

But some things can remain quiet, even for the Royals.

And Royals Prince William and Kate Middleton hid this one big secret until now.

The real story behind Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding finally comes out

The 2011 wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton was a global affair.

Millions of people around the world have tuned in for the first royal wedding since Prince Charles and Princess Diana.

And some 1,900 guests were in attendance for a televised ceremony that drew millions of viewers.

Robert Jobson’s biography “Catherine, the Princess of Wales” documented what happened after the red light on the cameras shut off.

Jobson said Prince William and Kate performed a raucous musical routine that brought down the house.

“For the evening’s finale, Prince William and Kate had a special surprise up their sleeves,” Jobson stated.

Suddenly, the music for the song “You’re the One I Want” from the 1978 classic Grease began to play.

Jobson recounted how Prince William and Kate took to the dance floor and adopted the roles of John Travolta’s Danny and Olivia Newton-John’s Sandy and danced to the music while lip-synching the lyrics.

“They stood holding hands in the middle of the dance floor grinning, then suddenly the opening bars of the song ‘You’re the One That I Want’ from the musical ‘Grease’ came booming out,” Jobson wrote.

“William and Catherine then began dancing around, pointing at each other, and mouthing the words with the style of the lead characters Danny and Sandy,” Jobson added.

“It brought the house down,” Jobson also wrote.

The after-party was bright

The 1,900 wedding guests got trimmed down to 650 for a reception hosted by Queen Elizabeth II.

However, only 300 made the cut for Prince Charles’ reception, where singer Ellie Goulding performed for the royal bride and groom.

“I was so nervous,” Goulding admitted. “My hands were shaking.”

Goulding played Elton John’s “Your Song” for the couple’s first dance.

The singer also performed her hit “Starry Eyed.”

And Goulding then sang The Killer’s “Mr. Brightside,” which is reportedly one of Prince Willian and Kate’s favorite songs.

Prince William and Kate Middleton met in the fall of 2001 when both were students at St. Andrew’s.

Ten years later, they were married.

Then, 20 years later, the Royal Family found itself in turmoil thanks to the antics of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle making baseless accusations of racism.

Meghan and Harry then fled to America and quit the Royal Family.

Now, no one welcomes them back to London, and Harry has to stay in hotels rather than spend the night in Buckingham Palace when he travels home.

Kate Middleton is now battling cancer, and Harry and Meghan aren’t even welcome to offer public comments on the matter.

But none of this turmoil existed in April 2011, when Prince William and Kate Middleton tied the knot.

And now we know even more about that royal wedding and the post-nuptial celebrations.
