Ivanka Trump served as a close adviser to her dad during his four years in office.
She and her husband Jared Kushner both officially worked as top-level White House aides.
But rumors are circulating after Ivanka Trump made one jaw-dropping announcement just before her dad launched his 2024 Presidential campaign.
Donald Trump officially launched his 2024 Presidential campaign last week from his home in Mar-a-Lago.
Ivanka Trump posted a statement on Instagram on the same day Donald announced his campaign letting everyone know she would not be involved in her father’s White House bid this time around.
Ivanka told Fox News that she will not be involved because her top priority is her family and raising her three young children.
“I love my father very much,” Ivanka told Fox. “This time around, I am choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family. I do not plan to be involved in politics.”
“While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena,” Ivanka Trump added. “I am grateful to have had the honor of serving the American people and I will always be proud of many of our Administration’s accomplishments.”
When Donald Trump left office in 2020, Ivanka and her family moved to Miami, Florida.
Ivanka told Fox News that spending time with her children is the most important thing in her life at the moment.
“My kids are thriving, and I want to maintain this cadence — this rhythm — at this point in our family’s life,” Ivanka Trump explained, adding that “time is fleeting, and every parent will tell you it really does go by so quickly.”
“They are at critical ages, and we are enjoying these moments with them,” Ivanka continued. “We’re happy where we are right now, and we will continue to support my father — as his kids.”
“I’m very proud of what I was able to accomplish,” Ivanka Trump added. “I left it all on the field, and I don’t miss it.”
Of course, most conservatives would not be saddened by the news that Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner will not be involved in Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign.
The two were collectively called “Javanka” and were long-rumored to be New York Democrats who constantly tried to push Donald Trump toward a more moderate political agenda.
But while Ivanka reportedly did not attend the campaign announcement, Kushner was present and that sent a message that he will be involved.
Still, Ivanka Trump deciding to not play a role in the campaign does have many wondering how committed Donald Trump’s family is to spending the next two years on the campaign trail.
