Even though they falsely believe Joe Biden is officially the President-elect, it hasn’t stopped members of the “Swamp” from ratcheting up their attacks against President Trump in recent weeks.
Former Secretary of Defense, James “Mad Dog” Mattis, even wrote an op-ed for The New York Times where he blasted President Trump and called his America First approach to foreign policy a disaster.
But Rush Limbaugh just called out “Mad Dog” Mattis and set the record straight about Trump’s America First foreign policy.
It’s no secret that James Mattis has never been a fan of an America First approach to foreign policy.
He even resigned from his position as Secretary of Defense in 2018 over his disagreement with President Trump over it.
And now that the election is over with, James Mattis just came out of the woodwork to attack President Trump, authoring an op-ed in The New York Times where he begged Joe Biden to remove all “America First” language from foreign policy during his Administration.
But during a recent episode of Rush Limbaugh’s show, Rush exposed James Mattis as being just another Swamp creature who is sickened with Trump Derangement Syndrome.
“That’s what these people oppose! They oppose American greatness. They oppose America first. What in the world is wrong with America first? It doesn’t mean we slough everybody else off. It doesn’t mean we disrespect anybody else. It means that everybody else benefits from a stronger America. The world does not benefit from a weakened America,” said Limbaugh about Mattis.
Limbaugh went on to say that the real goal behind folks like James Mattis is to bring about a global government under the guise of “cooperative security.”
“‘Cooperative security’ made us put ourselves second and third and fourth and fifth, by design. That is exactly what happened during the Obama administration. That was its purpose, and these people loved it. For whatever sick reason, these people loved the devaluation of the United States of America. They loved the devaluation of the United States as a superpower, as an economic power, as a military power — and for what?” said Limbaugh about Mattis’ real motivations.
Of course, the facts don’t lie.
President Trump’s America First foreign policy scored several victories and turned out to be a tremendous success for our nation.
He struck a peace deal with the Taliban, ending the longest war in American history, and allowing the U.S. to begin withdrawing troops from the region.
He negotiated peace deals that led to several Muslim nations officially recognizing the state of Israel for the first time in world history.
And he forced NATO allies to start paying more of their fair share for defense instead of the United States having to always carry the bulk of the load.
