Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) is loving his time in the spotlight during the coronavirus pandemic.
The Fake News Media is even encouraging him to run for President on his so-called “strong leadership” credentials shown during the crisis.
But Rush Limbaugh just called out New York Governor Andrew Cuomo for this despicable act that could nip those plans in the bud.
The Fake News Media holds up New York Governor Andrew Cuomo as the idea of the “perfect leader” during the coronavirus pandemic.
Of course, they’re overlooking how his disastrous policies have led New York State to have three times more confirmed cases than any other state.
When you take that into consideration, he doesn’t look like someone you want to take advice from.
But, since he regularly blames President Trump for his woes – and his brother is CNN’s Chris Cuomo – the Fake News Media loves him.
CNN even claimed he was the “most popular politician in America.”
Not sure who they were polling for that one . . .
The fact of the matter is, Cuomo’s been a disaster during the coronavirus.
His decision to send COVID-19 positive nursing home patients back to nursing homes for treatment is proving disastrous.
But nothing he’s done compares to what Rush Limbaugh just called him out for.
Limbaugh began by telling his listeners something they may not have known about out-of-state health care workers who answered the call to provide aid for New Yorkers.
“If you don’t live in New York, if you went to New York from some other place, and if you stayed there for 14 days, guess what? New York’s governor is going to make you pay New York state income tax for your volunteer efforts.”
That’s right. Out-of-state volunteers who earned income from their out-of-state employers or charities are now liable to pay New York state income tax on those earnings.
“And people wonder why I left,” Limbaugh continued. “People wonder why I moved out of there in 1997. Health care workers that came to New York to help fight the coronavirus pandemic at its epicenter will have to pay state taxes according to one of the goofiest and most screwed-up governors.”
Limbaugh went on to blast Democrat Governors and their draconian policies across the country, pointing out how badly they’re failing.
“As we pointed out yesterday, you have a greater chance of dying from this virus if you live in a blue state than if you live in a red state,” he said. “And those are numbers, that is data, there is not a single opinion in that statement of mine.”
Data doesn’t lie.
