Democrats are worried.
Their biggest power grab ever is in jeopardy.
Because SCOTUS justices just rocked the White House by announcing this one emergency decision.
After the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals recently dissolved a stay blocking Joe Biden’s unconstitutional vaccine mandate from taking effect on January 4, business groups challenging the power grab wasted no time asking the Supreme Court to keep the stay in place while the case wound through the legal system.
And the justices just responded by announcing an emergency session on January 7 to hear oral arguments in the challenges to Biden and Democrats’ vaccine mandate for healthcare facilities that accept Medicare and Medicaid funds and for employers with more than 100 workers.
The Associated Press reports:
The Supreme Court says it will hold a special session in just over two weeks to hear arguments on the Biden administration’s vaccine or testing requirement for large employers and a separate vaccine requirement for healthcare workers, an announcement that comes amid rising coronavirus cases.
The high court announced late Wednesday that it would hear arguments in the cases on Jan. 7, an extraordinarily fast timeline. The court had not been scheduled to hear cases again until Jan. 10.
Most legal experts believe the Court’s Republican appointees will strike down Biden’s vaccine mandate.
After all, the Court previously rebuked Joe Biden for using the Centers for Disease Control to issue a nationwide moratorium on evictions.
In that case, the justices ruled that the Constitution only allows Congress to pass a law blocking evictions.
And this is why most Court experts are predicting that Joe Biden’s unprecedented and illegal vaccine mandate will be struck down by at least five of the Republican-appointed justices on the Supreme Court.
