Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) started for many on the Left – including some Republicans – from the minute he rode down the golden escalator back in 2016.
And now as the 2024 general election draws nearer, it is ramping up to never-before-seen levels.
In fact, it’s getting so bad, Sean Hannity could only use one word to describe this outrageous claim about the former President of the United States.
The Democrat’s 2024 dirty playbook
The Democrat Party’s 2024 election plan seems to be playing out in three parts.
The party is putting a lot of its eggs in the abortion gaslighting basket.
Second, they’re going to their baseless, old hat “bigot card” tactics in which they smear every Republican, including former President Donald Trump – as supposedly racist, sexist, xenophobic, Islamophobic, homophobic, and transphobic haters.
It’s not true, but that’s never stopped the Left from shouting it from the rooftop.
While those dirty tricks will be applied against any and every Republican candidate, there’s a third tactic that’s reserved specifically for the 45th President of the United States.
That’s baselessly painting a Trump victory as the end of “democracy” – America is a republic, not a democracy, by the way – and that he’s going to jail everyone who has ever crossed him.
However, some of the most radical members of the Left are taking that last tactic to levels so extreme that it has rendered Sean Hannity nearly speechless.

For example, Representative Maxine Waters (D-CA) is now claiming that Trump merely campaigning for the White House will lead to “more killings.”

“I’m very concerned, not only about my safety and not only about the safety of members of Congress — I’m concerned about the safety of so many people in this country, particularly people of color,” Waters said on MSNBC. “Donald Trump has said that if he does not win, it is going to be fraud, and because it is going to be fraud, there will be blood in the streets. He threatens about a civil war, and he threatens there’s going to be violence.”
In fact, the 85-year-old Congresswoman representing Inglewood and Compton believes Trump will come for revenge against “millions” of people.
“I would say all of this talk is motivational with many of those who are racist, who are sitting at home listening to him, and they are taking him up on his threats even before the elections take place,” she continued. “It is about thousands, maybe millions of people being threatened and being at risk because of Donald Trump and his desire to seek revenge on anything and everybody.”

While it’s left-wing activists who are the ones on the street committing acts of violence in the name of politics – Waters and zealots like her are gaslighting voters into believing it’s Trump and his supporters who are the threat.
However, Sean Hannity called out the fearmonger tactic in a post on X.
“MAD MAXINE! Waters Fearmongers on MSNBC, Says There Will Be Violence and Killings if Trump Wins,” Hannity wrote.
Waters’ insane words are getting a lot of views thanks to Hannity due to the host’s 6.5 million followers on Twitter.
