In a recent post on social media, Sean Hannity made it clear that Mitch McConnell’s agenda is no longer relevant.

Mitch McConnell’s grip on the GOP has completely fallen apart.

But that isn’t stopping the former Senate GOP leader from lashing out.

And Sean Hannity just upended the rest of Mitch McConnell’s career with just these two words.

Mitch McConnell attempts to reignite GOP civil war

Mitch McConnell is not done trying to reignite infighting within the Republican Party against Donald Trump and his America First agenda.

The American people sent a clear mandate to Washington, D.C. when they instructed that Donald Trump return to the White House to finally end the war in Ukraine.

But McConnell believes that the party’s top agenda should be to keep the gravy train open and flowing endlessly to keep the forever war hot and engaged.

McConnell reopened the internal battle within the GOP by firing the first shot – he voted against the confirmation of Pete Hegseth to become Trump’s Secretary of Defense.

His opposition to the appointment, which was supported by fellow anti-Trump RINO’s Lisa Murkowski and Susan Collins and did catch some headlines, was ultimately crushed when Vice President J.D. Vance appeared on the Senate floor to cast the tiebreaking vote to confirm Hegseth.

When the dust settled, conservatives across America were disgusted by McConnell’s efforts.

Sean Hannity took to social media where he crushed McConnell for being a “toxic RINO.”

McConnell had attempted to make his case for opposing Hegseth becoming the next Secretary of Defense, but this had only made conservatives even angrier.

He started off by diminishing the value of Hegseth’s decorated military career, where he had earned medals for his acts of bravery on the battlefield.

“Mere desire to be a ‘change agent’ is not enough to fill these shoes. And ‘dust on boots’ fails even to distinguish this nominee from multiple predecessors of the last decade,” began McConnell. “Nor is it a precondition for success.”

“Secretaries with distinguished combat experience and time in the trenches have failed at the job,” he added.

When Joe Biden nominated Lloyd Austin to serve as his Secretary of Defense, however, McConnell did not waste a second to support the nomination and vote in favor of confirming him to the post.

Austin would then go on to introduce DEI policies in the military, all while overseeing the disastrous Biden withdrawal from Afghanistan.

He had also completely gone AWOL for an entire week as conflicts began breaking out across the globe.

McConnell had also added in his complaint that Hegseth did not share his lustfulness for an endless war against Russia, China, and Iran.

“The United States faces coordinated aggression from adversaries bent on shattering the order underpinning American security and prosperity,” McConnell rambled on. “In public comments and testimony before the Armed Services Committee, Mr. Hegseth did not reckon with this reality.”

McConnell also appeared disgusted over the fact that Hegseth was not attached to any strings controlled by the D.C. Swamp and the military-industrial complex.

“Absent, too, was any substantive discussion of countering our adversaries’ alignment with deeper alliance relationships and more extensive defense industrial cooperation of our own,” he ranted.

McConnell finished by slamming Trump over his directive given to Hegseth to dismantle the horrendous DEI policies that were installed into the military while firing the woke generals put in place by Joe Biden.

“By all accounts, brave young men and women join the military with the understanding that it is a meritocracy,” continued McConnell. “This precious trust endures only as long as lawful civilian leadership upholds what must be a firewall between servicemembers and politics.”

“The Biden Administration failed at this fundamental task. But the restoration of ‘warrior culture’ will not come from trading one set of culture warriors for another,” he finally concluded.

McConnell’s plan to tear apart Donald Trump’s foreign policy and the America First agenda has utterly failed.

But it is unlikely that this will be his final attempt.
