The Republican Senator from Louisiana, John Kennedy, just sent President Joe Biden into a fit of rage after dropping this one truth bomb, completely obliterating the Democrats hopes and dreams.
Just recently, Joe Biden began the process of trying to ram through one of his most insane judicial nominations yet.
While Democrats have been celebrating the nomination as a massive victory for identity politics, the decision to nominate Adeel Mangi to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit has left many Americans scratching their heads.
Mangi would become the first Muslim to sit on a federal appeals court if he ends up being confirmed.
The problem with this nomination lies in Mangi’s background, which has already prompted multiple red flags to appear during his confirmation process.
From 2019 to 2023, Mangi sat on an advisory board at Rutgers University’s Center for Security, Race and Rights.
This board hosted a panel that was set to mark the 20th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks, and the center elected to host Dr. Sami Al-Arian.
Dr. Sami Al-Arian pled guilty in 2006 for his role in aiding the radical Islamic terror group called “Palestine Islamic Jihad” and ultimately spent over four years in federal prison as a result.
The panel was titled “Whose Narrative? 20 Years since September 11, 2001” and it featured multiple radical Islamic speakers.
Many of these speakers had multiple connections with terror cells, while some have even publicly supported terrorism.
In 2022, Biden’s judicial nominee Mangi participated in a conference on behalf of the National Association of Muslim Lawyers.
Federal prosecutors pointed to one panelist who was declared an “unindicted co-conspirator” during a recent investigation covering funding for Hamas coming from the United States.
The Alliance of Families for Justice is another board he sits on alongside Kathy Boudin, a member of the radical left-wing terror group called Weather Underground.
Boudin has previously pleaded guilty of murdering two police officers in 1981.
Joe Biden’s nominee, Adeel Mangi, is clearly a radical extremist cosplaying as a Judge.
Some, such as Senator Kennedy, have called the nomination “as dead as Jimmy Hoffa,” however, because the Democrats only hold a 51-49 majority in the Senate.
Because of this, Biden can only afford one dissenting Democrat vote for the nomination.
While Republicans are unanimously voting to oppose the nomination, two Democrats have already signaled opposition to the nomination, virtually killing the confirmation.
In a recent interview with the Washington Examiner, Senator John Kennedy, a Republican from Louisiana, explained that Democrat Senator Joe Manchin opposing the nomination sealed the deal for Adeel Mangi.
“I believe that the nomination is dead. It’s as dead as Jimmy Hoffa,” Kennedy told the Examiner.
The Democrat Senator from West Virginia, Joe Manchin, recently announced that he would oppose any and all judicial nominations made by president Biden that couldn’t obtain a single Republican supporter in the Senate.
Senator Catherine Cortez Masto, the Democrat that just barely scored re-election in the purple state of Nevada, also came out to oppose Mangi’s selection for the Third Circuit Court.
“Mr. Mangi’s affiliation with the Alliance of Families for Justice is deeply concerning,” Cortez said in a prepared statement published by NBC. “This organization has sponsored a fellowship in the name of Kathy Boudin, a member of the domestic terrorist organization Weather Underground, and advocated for the release of individuals convicted of killing police officers.”
“I cannot support this nominee,” concluded the Senate Democrat.
