Democrat cities and towns around the country are crumbling under the weight of gross mismanagement.
That’s why so many Americans have been fleeing blue states like California and taking up refuge in red states.
And now a Slaine TV star’s horrific killing that left Los Angelenos gripped in terror has people demanding answers.
Family of slain actor descend on City Hall to demand justice
In 2020, violent crime spiked due to COVID unrest and repeat criminals being granted early release.
Much of this was a direct result of the George Floyd protests that roiled across the nation for months.
Major cities across the country were hard hit, but Los Angeles was hit especially hard.
Radical Soros-funded left-wing District Attorney George Gascón implemented pro-crime policies that led to a huge spike in violent crime.
It got so bad in the City of Angels that even progressives began to get fed up with the violence.
In fact, Gascón only narrowly survived a recall election due to a technicality.
One of the recent victims of increased crime was General Hospital actor Johnny Wactor.
Wactor was shot and killed by thieves in the process of stealing the catalytic converter off his car in downtown Los Angeles.
As of now, there still have been no arrests even though the horrific murder took place in late May.
Friends and family of Wactor recently marched on City Hall to demand action on his case.
Scarlett Wactor, Johnny’s mother, said to city officials during a news conference, “I’m asking that anybody that knows anything please come forward. . .It will help me and his brothers in our healing to know that they’ve been captured and convicted.”
Earlier in the month, the LAPD asked for leads on the three suspects who fled in a stolen 2018 black Infiniti Q50.
Scarlett Wactor added, “Grief is my constant companion. . .I can’t wish him a happy birthday on Aug. 31 — he would have been 38. I can’t ask if he’s coming home for Christmas. I can’t ask how his day went.”
Justice for Johnny
City Councilman Kevin de León responded to the family, saying, “We will make sure that no family has to endure the pain that Scarlett is enduring today. . .We want justice for Johnny, and we shall have it.”
But the sad fact is that jail in Los Angeles has become a revolving door for violent criminals.
Tessa Farrell, who was engaged to Wactor before his death, said back in May, “If the person who did this, if you’re watching, I’m sorry, but you shot the wrong guy. . .You can get a real job. I know the job market’s hard, but we’re all in it together. You don’t have to steal — especially take a life over it.”
Farrell added, “These criminals can’t keep being on the street, and they can’t keep being sent back. They have no repercussions for their actions. . .It’s not okay, and this can’t keep happening. So many lives are being lost, just us not being smart – we have to be smarter as a community.”
Unfortunately, they continue to be put back on the street with no regard for the people of Los Angeles.
But that is the entire mission of pro-crime prosecutors like Gascón.
And the violent criminals know it all too well.
Prior to Gascón’s recall election, defense attorneys were telling their clients to hurry up and take plea deals for fear that a less lenient prosecutor might replace Gascón.
Unfortunately, local elections often go under the radar, and voters don’t research the candidates as they do in larger elections, so radical prosecutors funded by Soros can often slip through the cracks.
And it is everyday, law-abiding Americans who pay the price.
