Democrats want free rein to rule the world — regardless of the damage they cause.
But the more pain they inflict on voters, the dicier things get.

But Democrats have a new reason to panic as the midterm election season heats up.
With the entire nation in crisis the Midterms are poised to serve as a referendum on President Joe Biden’s performance along with that of Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).
Democrats already knew they were in plenty of trouble based on Joe Biden’s shockingly low approval rating.
No president has been this unpopular since Jimmy Carter was in office.
Now, Bloomberg News just released a forecasting model that spells out exactly how likely Pelosi is to lose her razor-thin majority in the House.
Over time Bloomberg’s “Misery Index” has proven itself as a solid measure of the economic mood in the nation by combining the inflation rate with the unemployment rate.
Historically, it’s been able to accurately estimate how many seats the party in power is likely to lose during the next election cycle.
Under Joe Biden’s watch the Misery Index is coming in at a stunning 12%.
That’s the highest it’s been in more than a decade outside of a few awful months during the pandemic.
Even in the fall out from the Great Recession in 2010 the Misery Index only came in at 10% as Barack Obama faced his first Midterm election.
The election went so poorly for him that Obama described it as a “shellacking” for Democrats as they lost 63 seats in the House and six in the Senate.
Bloomberg predicts that this year Democrats are likely to lose 30 to 40 seats in the House and a few in the Senate which would give Republicans control of Congress again.
Currently, Democrats are only holding onto the House by four seats while the Senate is evenly split with Democrats forced to call on Vice President Kamala Harris to break any ties.
Pollster Frank Luntz says the Misery Index works so well as a measurement tool because the economy affects every American.
“The reason why the misery index still matters is that it’s really genuine misery for so many Americans,” Luntz explained. “Food and fuel inflation is so high and so universal, and impacts every voter in every community in every state.”
“When everyone is affected, the electoral impact is compounded,” he added.
Even Wisconsin Democrat Representative Gwen Moore admitted Bidenflation is making everyday Americans miserable.
“People are experiencing this. This is not abstraction for those folks,” Moore said. “When they pull up to the gas pump, the grocery store, they’re experiencing their own personal depression or recession, no matter what the numbers are.”
Democrats tried to distract voters with all kinds of dramatic posture over the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and their January 6 Committee drama, but voters know exactly who to blame for the pain they’re experiencing on a daily basis.
Bill Clinton’s top advisor, James Carville’s famous line continues to embody the bulk of what amounts to political wisdom: “It’s the economy, stupid.”
For now it looks like Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi put the country’s economy on a collision course that’s almost certain to help Republicans at the polls this fall.
