The FBI just told America something Democrats never wanted you to hear.
The FBI Director said his agents have cracked open the financial pipeline that has kept Antifa rioters in the streets for years.
Now a Texas congressman is explaining exactly how Congress plans to make sure the money stops – and the people behind it go to jail.
Congress Opens the Books on Soros and His Network
Republican Rep. Brandon Gill of Texas (R-TX) spelled out the plan Thursday on Fox Business.
Congress is launching hearings to force nonprofit organizations to answer for their tax-exempt status – and Gill made crystal clear that George Soros and his network are not going to hide behind lawyers.
"Will you guys basically point out George Soros' groups?" host Elizabeth MacDonald asked.
Gill didn't flinch.
"Yes, absolutely," he said.
The goal, Gill explained, is to strip every tax-free dollar from any organization caught funding illegal political activity or bankrolling riots.
"If these organizations are getting tax-free benefits and they are engaged in political activity illegally, that status needs to be revoked," Gill said.
He added that revocation is just the beginning.
"If you have these organizations that are funding illegal activity in the United States, people need to go to jail for that."
A Two-Front Assault Nobody on the Left Saw Coming
What makes this dangerous for the left is the double-barrel strategy Gill outlined.
Kash Patel went on Dan Bongino's show Wednesday and handed Congress fuel when he told Bongino the FBI cracked open the specific funding streams keeping Antifa running.
"These organizations don't operate alone, don't operate in silence," Patel said. "They operate with a heavy, heavy stream of funding. And we started looking into it. And guess what, Dan? We found them."
He promised more details "in the next month or two."
The Paper Trail Is Already There
Here's what Democrats are sweating: this isn't a fishing expedition.
The Daily Caller News Foundation already documented that the Headwaters Foundation for Justice – fed for years by George Soros's Open Society Foundations – funneled more than $3.3 million to activist groups that organized anti-ICE riots in Minneapolis.
Open Society also gave $2 million directly to the Sunrise Movement, which promoted the Stop Cop City campaign now tied to arson attacks and Molotov cocktails thrown at law enforcement.
Capital Research Center documented more than $80 million flowing from Soros to groups that have provided material support for terrorism and extremist violence.
This is exactly the paper trail Patel's FBI and Gill's hearings are designed to follow – IRS Form 990 filings are public record, and every grant is documented.
Obama and Biden Gave Them Cover for Years
For eight years under Obama and four more under Biden, the FBI told America Antifa was "just an idea."
Patel shut that down cold.
"It's not an idea when actual action follows the idea."
The consequences of that cover are still playing out in federal court – nine defendants in Texas are currently on trial for the July 4 ambush of ICE officers at a detention facility in Prairieland, where they opened fire on federal agents.
That attack didn't organize itself, and it didn't fund itself.
The hearings Gill described – combined with Patel's financial investigation and the IRS referral authority built into Trump's National Security Presidential Memorandum 7 – now give the federal government the tools to follow the money all the way back to the source.
The left spent decades building a tax-exempt empire to fund its street army.
Congress and the FBI just announced they're coming to collect.
