As their attempts to run the country continue to fall apart, the Left is going off the rails with all kinds of wild claims.
Now the NAACP just issued one outrageous “travel warning.”
Having Florida Governor Ron DeSantis join the 2024 Presidential race is having a fascinating impact on the Left.
While Democrats have been occupied trying to conjure up new lawsuits to throw at former President Donald Trump, now they’re having to pivot to attack DeSantis in Florida.
The latest attempt to discredit a major Republican is truly ludicrous.
The NAACP issued a travel warning for the entire state of Florida claiming that the state “devalues and marginalizes” issues affecting “communities of color.”
“Florida is openly hostile toward African Americans, people of color and LGBTQ+ individuals,” the organization claimed. “Before traveling to Florida, please understand that the state of Florida devalues and marginalizes the contributions of, and the challenges faced by African Americans and other communities of color.”
Of course, that was a political stunt to set up all kinds of Democrats for fantastic interview opportunities in the left-leaning press.
But it seems the Sunshine State is enough of an oasis, even Democrats are going to have a tough time following through with their boycott and causing serious damage to the state’s $100 billion tourism industry.
In an interview, Democrat strategist Aisha Mills amped up the rhetoric claiming that DeSantis’ home area is a “terrorist state.”
But the fact that she had to admit that she just spent spring break soaking up the rays in Florida seriously took the wind out of her sails.
“I just took my family to spring break in Florida recently, and I think about all of the folks who travel there for sun and joy and peace and restoration, and to be reminded that actually this is getting to the point where Florida is about to be a terrorist state to many of us here in America. Certainly as a lesbian, as a black woman, I don’t want to have anything to do with the place,” the Daily Caller quoted Mills as saying.
According to leftist logic, Florida apparently only becomes a wildly dangerous “terrorist” state when there’s a chance a Republican there could migrate north and land in the Oval Office.
Ironically, the issue that sparked all the hand wringing over Florida being incredibly dangerous was a bill signed into law by DeSantis last year prohibiting schoolteachers from having inappropriate conversations about sex with young children.
Even more ironically, as the DeSantis team pointed out, the Chairman of the NAACP actually lives in Florida.
And several members of the NAACP board have vacationed in DeSantis’ state in recent years.

Meanwhile, the number of people moving to Florida continues to go through the roof as citizens flee blue areas with skyrocketing crime where Democrats in power have turned truly dangerous.
But political elites are far more concerned over their ability to maintain a grasp on power than what’s actually happening on the ground where most of their supporters live.
