The Biden regime’s weaponized government has gone all-in on destroying anyone and everyone who has the audacity to oppose their woke extremist agenda.
As such they now have anti-woke, pro-free speech billionaire Elon Musk in their crosshairs.
According to reports, the Biden Department of Justice has filed a lawsuit against Elon Musk’s SpaceX for hiring too many American citizens.
Seriously, this is real life.
The suit claims that the aerospace company – which as a rocket manufacturer, is governed by the same regulations as the nation’s advanced weapons contractors – somehow violated federal law by not hiring enough refugees and asylum seekers, even though the DOJ itself is not even allowed to hire such illegal aliens.
“The DOJ alleges that SpaceX discouraged refugees and asylum seekers from applying to open positions and refused to hire those that did, according to the complaint,” Semafor reported.
“According to the complaint, SpaceX job postings wrongly stated that only U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents could apply for openings, and that SpaceX’s hiring practices were routine, widespread, and longstanding, and harmed asylees and refugees,” the Semafor report continued.
Of course, it’s important to note that all rocket manufacturers, and other advanced weapons contractors, have long operated under the longstanding understanding that sensitive jobs at such corporations could only be filled by American citizens and green card holders.
But back in April, the Biden regime released what they called a “clarification” of the law entitled “How to Avoid Immigration-Related Discrimination when Complying with U.S. Export Control Laws.”
While the fact that the Biden regime attempted to unilaterally change the law with this “clarification” is obviously a major issue that should be getting much more attention than it is, the most starling part of the entire ordeal may be the fact that the Biden regime has used their “clarification” – which, again, was only released in April – to claim that SpaceX has been violating the law since 2008.
The Biden regime is literally punishing SpaceX for rightly following the law as it was written for over a decade because they decided to unilaterally change the law to fit their woke extremist agenda.
“Until now, the U.S. government was pretty clear that you were only supposed to hire U.S. citizens and green card holders,” Musk’s friend and SpaceX and X investor, David Sacks, explained on the All-In podcast. “They now have this crazy idea that these national security companies should be hiring more refugees and asylum seekers even though this is the definition of a national security risk.”
“The key here is that this was only issued in April 2023, but what they’ve done with this lawsuit is go back and say from 2008 to 2022 that SpaceX is retroactively governed by this new understanding,” he added. “What they are saying is that anybody who was screened out as part of this process is entitled to backpay and lost wages since they were screened out. In other words, it assumes that every single one of those people would have been hired by SpaceX, which is absurd because the bar for hiring at SpaceX is incredibly high. And, if they could have got a job at SpaceX, they probably didn’t have any damages because they could probably get a job at 10 other companies as well.”
Those facts have obviously led many Republicans to rightly call the lawsuit the beginning stages of yet another politically motivated witch hunt to punish someone who opposes woke extremism.
As another Musk associate and SpaceX investor, Chamath Palihapitiya, explained, the witch hunt likely has more to do with the Tesla founder’s takeover of the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.
“When Elon bought Twitter, what effectively happened is the biggest psyop organization for the Democratic party was taken away from them,” Palihapitiya pointed out. “They are increasingly feeling that if X really does become the town square, that’s really bad for them.”
“This is the sort of death-by-a-thousand-cuts approach that the blob has in trying to bring him down,” he added. “The goal is to tie him up and distract him and to take resources away, his mindshare, from working. We all know him, so he’s going to do the exact opposite.”
Joe Biden and the rest of the ruling class elites are determined to bring the American people to heel.
And they’re going after big names like Elon Musk because they know if they can take out the freedom-loving Americans with resources, the working class will be no problem.
