Democrat lackeys in the judicial system have been doing their party’s bidding for years but they’re finally starting to be exposed one by one.
One judge went on a tirade against Donald Trump on CNN.
And now the consequences just hit him like a ton of bricks.
Democrats’ weaponization of the justice system has completely destroyed the rule of law, and created a system in which partisan political witch hunts are somehow deemed “justice.”
No longer are judges independent, unbiased arbiters of the law – they’re now guided almost exclusively by their left-wing allegiance, completely destroying the integrity of the justice system.
And that was proven once again when Washington, D.C. District Court Judge Reggie Walton – who in October 2016 blocked the release of a criminal indictment draft prosecutors prepared against former First Lady Hillary Clinton during the early 1990s Whitewater scandal in order to protect Democrats’ then-Presidential nominee – went on an unhinged tirade against former President Donald Trump during a recent CNN appearance.
Walton blasted Trump for daring to point out that the judge presiding over Manhattan Democrat District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s witch hunt against the former President is a Democrat whose daughter runs a lucrative consulting firm that rakes in major sums from Democrat clients, like Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA).
The openly left-wing judge claimed that Trump pointing out the facts about the biased individuals taking part in Democrats’ witch hunts against him was somehow a “threat” that was “directed at one’s family,” before spouting the same played out, nonsense talking point every ruling class judge and prosecutor does about supposedly being committed to the “rule of law” rather than their own interests.
“Well, it’s very disconcerting to have someone making comments about a judge, and it’s particularly problematic when those comments are in the form of a threat, especially if they are directed at one’s family,” Walton claimed.
“We do these jobs because we’re committed to the rule of law and we believe in the rule of law,” he continued. “The rule of law can only function effectively when we have judges who are prepared to carry out their duties without the threat of potential physical harm.”
Of course, there never was any “threat of potential physical harm,” and in reality, the rule of law truly only functions when those entrusted with carrying out the rule of law aren’t abusing their positions for political or personal gain.
“But nonetheless, it is very troubling, because it is an attack on the rule of law when judges are threatened, and particularly, when their family is threatened,” Walton added. “And it’s something that’s wrong and should not happen.”
This isn’t the first time Walton has publicly spewed his anti-Trump hatred, while portraying himself as some morally superior defender of the law – he previously called the former President a “charlatan.”
“I don’t think he cares about democracy, only power,” Walton added.
But Walton’s decision to unleash such vitriol publicly is already coming back to haunt him, as Article III Project founder Mike Davis has filed an ethics complaint against Walton with the Washington, D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals.
“We are seeing a dangerous pattern in which DC federal judges, like [Judge Walton] have convinced themselves they have a duty — unbounded by the judicial canons — to make extrajudicial pronouncements about President Trump,” the complaint read.
“It is much worse when a different judge — especially a sitting federal judge — thinks it is his job to moonlight as a CNN commentator on a pending criminal case in another judge’s court,” the complaint added.
As the complaint went on to point out, no “judge should not make public comment on the merits of a matter pending or impending in any court.”
Needless to say, Judge Reggie Walton is the walking embodiment of everything that is wrong with Democrats’ weaponized justice system.
And hopefully, the ethics complaint against him will be the first step towards holding him and many others accountable for their destruction of the American judicial system.
