The Democrats have been trying to take down Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh from day one.
Even with Trump out of office, they’re still going after Kavanaugh.
And the Democrats just sent one letter to the FBI that could mean bad news for Brett Kavanaugh.
Conspiracy theorist Democrat Senator Sheldon Whitehouse, along with six other Senate Judiciary Committee members, just sent a letter to the FBI accusing agents of improperly investigating the 4,500 tips that came into the special line the Bureau set up after the Senate paused its confirmation process to conduct a supplemental weeklong background check investigation following Christine Blasey Ford’s false allegations of sexual assault.
The Democrats are now accusing the FBI of flat-out ignoring these “tips.”
“The admissions in your letter corroborate and explain numerous credible accounts by individuals and firms that they had contacted the FBI with information ‘highly relevant to . . . allegations’ of sexual misconduct by Justice Kavanaugh, only to be ignored,” the letter read.
Democrats hinted that the Trump administration blocked the FBI from following through on these tips.
“If the FBI was not authorized to or did not follow up on any of the tips that it received from the tip line, it is difficult to understand the point of having a tip line at all,” the letter added.
Of course, neither of Kavanaugh’s accusers – Christine Blasey Ford or Julie Swetnick – could produce any evidence to back up their accusations.
And the 4,500 tips the FBI received likely included nothing but angry liberals, conspiracy theorists, and pranksters.
But Democrats are still bringing up the accusations against Kavanaugh as part of an effort by the Left to bully him into voting their way on the Supreme Court.
After all, like John Roberts, Kavanaugh responds to their pressure because he’s more concerned about what the liberals in their social circles think than delivering originalist judicial outcomes.
