Every time a madman commits a mass shooting, the radical Left gets giddy with joy.
Before the victim’s bodies are even cold, they exploit the shooting to demand gun control.
And the Fake News Media just sent Kamala Harris this one demand to end the Second Amendment.
No right separates the United States from the rest of the world quite like the Second Amendment.
In most countries around the world, it is virtually impossible to own firearms for personal protection.
But because of the wisdom of the Founding Fathers, the right to bear arms is enshrined as the most important right in the Constitution, just behind the right to free speech.
Democrats try to either claim that they didn’t actually mean what they wrote, or outright state that they were wrong in writing the Second Amendment.
Kamala Harris has long been one of the most vocal anti-gun zealots in America.
When she was running for President, she scolded gun owners, telling them that if authoritarian gun control measures aren’t put into law in the first hundreds days of her presidency, she would force gun control on them through executive action.
Of course, she isn’t President, but with Joe Biden’s declining mental health, she has a lot more influence than a traditional Vice President would.
So the Fake News Media is lobbying her to have Joe Biden take those executive actions.
While appearing for an interview with CBS This Morning, just two days after the horrific shooting in Boulder, Colorado, the hosts pressured her to do just that.
Co-host and Democratic donor Gayle King wondered, “Listen, it’s clear that the President’s intention and his frustration are very clear. But the reality is you guys just don’t have the votes. So what’s your move?”
To make sure her intentions are more clear, King immediately brought up executive action, “So, what will the Biden administration do? We keep hearing about executive action. What does that mean Madam Vice President?”
Fellow co-host Anthony Mason also hammered on about executive action, asking the Vice President, “Madam Vice President, as it stands right now, you do not have the votes. Failing that, is the President prepared to take executive action?”
Harris actually admits she is skeptical about executive action, stating that she prefers legislation, as that action would be permanent.
But she never rules it out, instead stating “there is the piece about executive action, but if we pass legislation, it’s permanent. If we – if the Congress acts, then it becomes law. And that is what we have lacked. That is what has been missing. We need universal background checks.”
The hosts clearly weren’t happy with her not committing to executive action, with Mason mentioning the demands of anti-gun groups.
Mason said, “But Madam Vice President, we heard from the head of Moms Demand Action earlier in the broadcast, who said that the President has it in his power to do something right now.”
In response, Harris stated that “the President has said he is prepared to sign legislation,” only for Mason to immediately fire back stating, “But he can also take executive action.”
That’s when Harris admits that option isn’t off the table, stating “I don’t think the President is excluding that. But again, I want to be clear that if we really want something that is going to be lasting, we need to pass legislation.”
