There is no question that Joe Biden’s State of the Union address was a total disaster.
And the negative fallout from his speech extended well beyond the world of politics.
Joe Biden confused college student Laken Riley for a famous football coach
President Joe Biden attempted to silence Republicans who jeered him over his refusal to say the name of Laken Riley.
Riley of course was the 22-year-old woman allegedly murdered by an illegal alien while she was on a run on the campus of the University of Georgia.
Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) relentlessly taunted Biden over the release of the illegal alien that allegedly murdered Riley into the country as part of his open borders disaster.
Biden then responded by mistakenly saying Lincoln Riley was murdered by an illegal alien.
“Lincoln Riley, an innocent young woman who was killed by an illegal [alien], that’s right. But how many thousands of people [are] being killed by illegal [aliens],” Biden ranted. “To her parents, I say my heart goes out to you, having lost children myself.”
Biden’s now clear cognitive impairment led him to mix up Laken Riley the nursing student with Lincoln Riley, the University of Southern California (USC) head football coach.
Lincoln Riley is coming off a disappointing college football season where his USC Trojans failed to meet expectations behind superstar quarterback Caleb Williams.
They finished a disappointing 8-5 after beginning the season as a favorite to qualify for the College Football Playoff.
But the disappointment of the USC faithful over a down season paled in comparison to the grief the Riley family feels after losing their daughter because Joe Biden abused his parole authority to let hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens into the country.
ESPN commentator and College Gameday co-host Pat McAfee the said football world exploded thinking Joe Biden announced Lincoln Riley’s death.
McAfee said on his popular talk show that Biden’s announcement that an illegal alien killed Lincoln Riley caused him to immediately check his phone and see that Riley’s name was trending.
He thought Coach Riley was dead
“I saw somebody with a microphone last night addressing the entire nation,” McAfee stated. “He made an announcement that Lincoln Riley was dead. I get on my phone after this event that we’re at and it’s Lincoln Riley and he’s trending all over. I click – ‘he’s dead.’ Lincoln Riley’s dead? Wait a second, who said that? The president? Lincoln Riley’s dead? How is this happening?”
“I saw his name trending [so] I’m like, ‘Wait, he was just on the show.’ I was like, ‘What did Lincoln Riley do?’” McAfee added.
But for as much consternation that this Biden misstep caused, it was a fairly benign example of Biden’s cognitive decline in action.
And Biden’s mental incompetence presents a major national security threat to America and the rest of the world.
It took him 72 hours to address the disastrously executed withdrawal from Afghanistan when he allowed the Taliban to take over the country.
His botched evacuation also stranded thousands of Americans behind enemy lines.
When Biden finally did speak to the nation about the disaster, he read a prepared statement and then shuffled away from the microphone without taking questions.
There is no question that Russian President Vladimir Putin saw a mentally diminished American President and decided to take advantage of it by invading Ukraine.
Should Biden win re-election, dictators Xi Jinping of Communist China and Kim Jong Un of North Korea could see him as so mentally enfeebled they make their long-desired plays to conquer their neighbors and invade Taiwan and South Korea respectively.
Both of those conflicts hold the potential for nuclear war and tens of millions of casualties.
