Even though Joe Biden is set to become the 46th President at noon on January 20 – just a few days from the time of this writing – the radical Left is still waging war on Donald Trump.
They’re determined to crush him and destroy his legacy.
But the Left may have crossed the line with their latest attack against President Trump.
The Democrats and their allies in the Fake News Media are blaming President Trump for the rioting that took place at the Capitol on January 6, using the violence that occured as an excuse to ramp up their war against President Trump like never before.
But now that Joe Biden has been officially certified as the President-elect, it’s not just the Democrats and the Fake News Media who are out to get Trump and his supporters.
The Big Tech Giants like Facebook, Google, Twitter, and Amazon are now trying to silence any and all dissent heading into Joe Biden’s Administration on January 20, starting with deplatforming President Trump from every major social media network in the entire world.
After Facebook and Twitter suspended President Trump, indefinitely, other major corporations quickly followed suit, with Shopify, a service online shops use to sell merchandise, even banned President Trump from using their platform.
And they’re blaming it on the violence that took place at the Capitol.
“Shopify does not tolerate actions that incite violence. Based on recent events, we have determined that the actions by President Donald J. Trump violate our Acceptable Use Policy, which prohibits promotion or support of organizations, platforms or people that threaten or condone violence to further a cause,” a Shopify spokesperson said in a written statement sent to TechCrunch.
“As a result, we have terminated stores affiliated with President Trump.”
With millions of users, Shopify is one of the biggest e-commerce stores on the entire Internet.
In 2017, Shopify CEO, Tobial Lutke, assured its users that the company would never participate in censoring speech, because “commerce is a powerful, underestimated form of expression.”
But the following year he went back on that promise and removed it from Shopify’s website, and also removed thousands of users from the platform at the same time.
Big Tech’s ramping up of censorship is a dangerous trend for a free country.
And they’re not just going after Trump and his supporters.
They’re looking to silence anyone who doesn’t support their radical agenda.
After all, Facebook locked former Congressman Ron Paul from his personal page, without even a warning or an explanation why.
Only after a loud public outcry, including from several sitting Congressmen and Senators, including Ron Paul’s son, did Facebook relent and claim it was a “mistake.”
But for Regular Joe and Plain Jane, they’re not likely to get the same response if the Facebook censors decide to come for them.
