From playing a supposed “black national anthem” at the Super Bowl, to supporting Black Lives Matter to mandating COVID vaccines, the National Football League has been quick to jump on the leftist bandwagon in recent years.

However, not every player is on board with the league going woke.

In fact, NFL officials are now furious after this 2024 Super Bowl hero just shined a light on the real long-term prescription to curbing violent crime.

From Super Bowl victory to super tragedy in the blink of an eye

The 2024 Super Bowl featured seven field goals – and four of them came from the foot of Kansas City Chief kicker Harrison Butker.

Butker’s three-point kicks – including a Super Bowl-record, 57 yarder – helped the Chief come from behind to send the game into overtime where they would eventually win the league championship.

Days later, the thrill of victory would turn to tragedy.

An estimated one-million people turned up in downtown Kansas City to celebrate their team’s win.

According to federal court documents, cops say two groups at the parade had a confrontation over one group staring at the other.

The confrontation resulted in allegedly 12 guns being pulled and six people – possibly including some teens – shooting their weapons.

The Associated Press has reported mother Lisa Lopez-Galvan was killed in the gunfire and 22 others were injured.

On cue, the corporate-controlled media rushed to blame guns instead of the people with their fingers on the triggers.

With no evidence or even logical arguments, they claimed unconstitutional gun-grabbing laws would have prevented the incident.

However, the Chief’s star kicker sees things differently.

“We need strong fathers in the home”

Butker does believe the parade murder, and others like it could be avoided.

But not by violating the second amendment and stealing America’s right to bear arms.

Butker says refocusing on family values and empowering American fathers would cut down on violent crime running rampant in the largest cities in the United States.

According to the National Catholic Register, Butker told The Eternal Word Television Network that now more than ever, America needs dads to step up.

“I think we need strong fathers in the home,” Butker said. “I think we need men that are leading, that are setting good examples, that are teaching the young men in our society that violence is not the way to handle our disputes.”

Butker’s comments, suggesting that strong men taking a leadership role in the family, likely won’t sit well with the Left.

“Fatherless youth eventually become adults who . . . struggle to gain their footing in the world”

According to data from the United States Census Bureau, unfortunately, almost 18.5-Million children grow up in a fatherless home in the United States.

That equates to about 25% of American youth being raised without a dad.

U.S. Representative Burgess Owens (R-Utah) believes the lack of committed dads is leading to bigger problems in society.

“We know that fatherhood is essential to the development of our children, and the increased involvement of fathers in the home leads to better results on a wide variety of outcomes,” Owens wrote in a statement ahead of Fathers Day 2022. “From economic prosperity, increased academic performance, to improved social mobility; fathers in their respective homes continue to be a key indicator of success for all children across racial, ethnic, and socio-economic groups.”

In his statement, Congressman Owens cited data suggesting 85% of children and teens with behavioral disorders come from fatherless homes, and over 70% of all adolescent patients in drug and alcohol treatment centers originate from homes without fathers.

“Fatherless youth eventually become adults who, without the structure of a two-parent household, struggle to gain their footing in the world,” Owens continued. “As America deals with a rise in crime, substance abuse, incarceration, decreased social mobility, and economic strains, we must acknowledge the impact that fatherlessness has had on all these issues. We must recognize how we, as fathers, empower, teach and develop our children plays a direct role in their well-being, mental health and ability to persevere through adversity.”

Judging by his recent comments, Butker would agree with Owens.
