Hunter Biden’s scandals have become a problem that Democrats can no longer ignore.
But it’s about more than Hunter Biden.
And a top Republican said four words that left Hunter Biden stunned in silence.
Now that the GOP controls the House, Republicans are setting their crosshairs on the Biden crime family.
Since Democrats controlled the entire federal government for the past two years, Hunter Biden was able to escape being held accountable for his shady overseas business deals he secured using his father’s political power.
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) is leading one of the main investigations into the Biden family.
The White House and corporate-controlled media are trying to run damage control ahead of the potential investigation into Hunter, even preparing an army of spin doctors to deflect any shocking discoveries made by the Committee.
However, during an interview on MSNBC’s Meet the Press, Comer made it clear that Hunter Biden is not the focus of his investigation.
“We’re not investigating Hunter Biden,” Comer explained. “We’re investigating Joe Biden.”
Host Chuck Todd, who was a cheerleader during the witch hunts against Donald Trump, confronted Comer and accused him of leading a partisan investigation.
“It looks more partisan than professional,” Todd said.
“I think the only people that see this as a partisan investigation are the media and the hardcore Democrats,” Comer replied.
Comer then pointed out that Joe Biden has avoided cooperating on oversight that he is legally required to under the law.
“Look, at the same moment that the Democrats on the Ways and Means Committee released Donald Trump’s taxes, they then, moments later, turned around and said that Comer’s investigation of the Biden family influence peddling is a revenge,” Comer continued.
Harvard released a recent poll showing that 65% of Americans support investigating the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop.
Comer’s investigation will be focused on discovering if Hunter Biden, along with his uncle James, compromised Joe Biden with their shady overseas business deals.
“There are emails and text messages that show Hunter Biden complaining about having to spend so much money keeping his dad up,” Comer said. “I mean, that’s a concern because Hunter Biden’s only source of income was from our adversaries in China and Russia for influence peddling.”
Based on whistleblower testimony as well as information found on Hunter’s laptop, Joe Biden flat-out lied when he said he never discussed business with Hunter.
And that means Comer’s investigation will be a major headache for the Biden regime in the near future.
