No Pope in modern history has been as controversial of a figure as Pope Francis.
But no one expected to hear this.
And you can bet self-proclaimed Catholics Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi, and everyone was caught off guard by what the Pope called one of the biggest threats facing the planet.
The Argentine newspaper La Nación interviewed Pope Francis on March 10 for a discussion where he revealed a dangerous threat facing humanity.
Surprisingly, the typically-leftist Pope warned of the dangers posed by the Left’s gender identity insanity.
“Gender ideology, today, is one of the most dangerous ideological colonizations,” Francis declared.
Pope Francis even ripped those on the Left who are trying to erase the inherent differences between men and women on a physical, biological, and emotional level.
“Why is it dangerous?” Francis continued. “Because it blurs differences and the value of men and women.”
Democrats spent the past few years fighting to allow biological males to participate in women’s sports while also claiming that these same men can get pregnant.
Jill Biden recently invited a biological male to the White House to present him with the “International Women’s Courage Award.”
Pope Francis said the Left is destroying everything that makes life beautiful and unique by blurring gender lines and trying to erase the differences between men and women.
“All humanity is the tension of differences. It is to grow through the tension of differences,” Pope Francis added. “The question of gender is diluting the differences and making the world the same, all dull, all alike, and that is contrary to the human vocation.”
The Left likes to claim how much they love “diversity.”
But Francis said they are destroying sexual diversity and “do not distinguish what is respect for sexual diversity or diverse sexual preferences from what is already an anthropology of gender, which is extremely dangerous because it eliminates differences, and that erases humanity, the richness of humanity, both personal, cultural, and social, the diversities and the tensions between differences.”
In Florida, Governor Ron DeSantis is leading the charge against the Left’s woke gender radicalism.
He prohibited biological males from participating in women’s sports and signed a bill to stop left-wing teachers from pushing young children into the transgendered lifestyle.
After DeSantis showed it was possible to win against the woke Left, other Red states are following his lead and fighting back as well.
Normally, Pope Francis is a reliable ally for the radical Left, especially when it comes to open borders and radical environmentalism.
But the Left’s gender insanity is even too much for Pope Francis to swallow.
