The ShamWow Guy Just Dropped His First Campaign Ad And One Thing In It Has Democrats Losing Their Minds

Remember those late-night infomercials where Vince Shlomi hawked the ShamWow towel with Brooklyn swagger and pitch-perfect timing?

The guy who could sell anything to anybody just turned his talents toward politics.

And the ShamWow Guy just dropped his first campaign ad and one thing in it has Democrats losing their minds.

Texas Republican Primary Gets a Dose of Infomercial Energy

Vince Shlomi filed to run for Congress in Texas's 31st District back in November 2025.

The 61-year-old Israeli-American entrepreneur is taking on 84-year-old incumbent Republican John Carter in the primary.

Carter's been warming that seat since 2003 and political analysts have had him on retirement watch for years.

But the old judge keeps running and Shlomi decided enough was enough.

"I'm running for Congress against this guy," Shlomi said in his campaign ad, holding up Carter's photo. "Stop having a politician that's worse than Biden."

The ad dropped Sunday and it's pure Shlomi all the way through.

Same headset microphone and polo shirt from his ShamWow days.

Same rapid-fire delivery that made him millions in the 2000s.

And the exact same Brooklyn attitude that turned absorbent towels into cultural phenomena.

"I'm going to soak up the swamp, clean the house, and pick up those liberal tears at the same time," Shlomi promised.

This Campaign Promise Would Make Even Billy Mays Blush

Shlomi didn't hold back on his anti-woke agenda.

The man who once told America "you're gonna love my nuts" while pitching the Slap Chop brought that same energy to politics.

"I'm going to slap chop the nuts out of the woke, making less bluehead commies and more red-blooded Americans," Shlomi declared.

That line alone has leftists melting down across social media.

Democrats spent decades sanitizing political speech and here comes an infomercial guy treating their sacred cows like vegetables in a Slap Chop.

Stock footage and animated graphics flash across the screen just like his old commercials.

But instead of demonstrating product features, Shlomi's pitching his vision for Texas.

"Vote for me so I can represent you and the ones that can't stand up for themselves," Shlomi said as the ad reached its climax.

That's when things got really interesting.

A Talking Fetus Just Endorsed the ShamWow Guy for Congress

The screen showed an x-ray image of an unborn baby.

The unborn child turned toward the camera and pumped its fist.

"Vote for Shamwow!" the fetus proclaimed.

Democrats absolutely lost it.

The same people who think men can get pregnant just watched a campaign ad feature pro-life messaging wrapped in infomercial packaging.

Shlomi's running explicitly on destroying wokeism and he's using every tool in his pitchman arsenal to do it.

The ad even credits him officially as "Offer Vince 'ShamWow' Shlomi" in the paid-for tagline.

He's leaning into the brand recognition that made him a household name when half of America watched late-night TV.

Shlomi told Fox News Digital his campaign was inspired by Charlie Kirk, the conservative activist assassinated in September 2025.

He cited his desire to "destroy wokeism" as a tribute to Kirk when he filed to run.

Kirk's death at Utah Valley University became a catalyst for Trump's aggressive stance against left-wing political violence.

Now the ShamWow Guy wants to carry that torch into Congress.

From Flea Markets to Capitol Hill

Shlomi's career reads like an American success story wrapped in chamois leather.

Born in Beersheba, Israel, he grew up in Brooklyn watching Crazy Eddie commercials.

Those high-energy pitches inspired him to drop out of high school at 17 and move to Los Angeles.

He spent years hawking products at swap meets before creating the 1999 Underground Comedy Movie.

By 2002 Shlomi was bankrupt and back at flea markets selling vegetable choppers.

That's when he spotted the ShamWow in 2006 and filmed an infomercial for $20,000 in 2007.

The ad went viral before viral was even a thing.

MSNBC's tournament crowned it the best infomercial ever made, beating out OxiClean and the George Foreman Grill.

Shlomi sold millions of towels and became one of the most recognizable faces in direct marketing.

Popular Mechanics tested his ShamWow against Billy Mays' competing Zorbeez and declared Shlomi's product superior.

The man knows how to sell and now he's selling conservatism to Texas voters.

Carter won his 2024 race with 64.5% but the 84-year-old faces at least a dozen primary challengers this cycle.

The primary is set for March 3, 2026, with a potential runoff on May 26 if nobody clears 50%.

Texas's 31st District includes northern Austin suburbs, Temple, and Fort Hood.

It's reliably Republican territory but voters might be ready for someone who doesn't remember Eisenhower's first term.

Shlomi's betting that his infomercial skills translate to politics better than Carter's judicial resume translates to results.

"The political infighting in the country" motivated him to "make America happy," Shlomi explained to Fox News.

Democrats aren't laughing at the talking fetus anymore.

They're watching an unconventional candidate use unconventional methods to reach conservative voters.

And they're terrified it might actually work.
