The clock is ticking for Joe Biden.
If time runs out, it’ll be bad news for thousands of Americans.
That’s because the Taliban just gave Joe Biden one ultimatum that will turn you red with rage.
After Joe Biden’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan, the Taliban is back in control and anywhere from 10,000 to 40,000 Americans are trapped behind Taliban lines.
But Joe Biden announced that he would have all U.S. forces out of Afghanistan by August 31, even if Americans were still stuck on the ground there.
And during a recent interview with George Stephanopoulos, Biden was asked about the potential of leaving U.S. troops in the country until every American was safely evacuated.
“The commitment holds to get everyone out that, in fact, we can get out and everyone that should come out,” Biden continued on adding that, “and that’s the objective. That’s what we’re doing now. That’s the path we’re on. And I think we’ll get there.”
However, Taliban Spokesman Suhail Shaheen rejected Joe Biden’s request to leave U.S. troops in Afghanistan past the August 31 deadline.
And in a move that shows how little America’s enemies respect Joe Biden, the Taliban also warned Biden there would be “consequences” if he left troops in the country past August 31.
“President Biden announced that on 31 August they would withdraw all their military forces. So if they extend it that means they are extending occupation while there is no need for that,” Shaheen told the U.K.’s Sky News. “If the US or UK were to seek additional time to continue evacuations – the answer is no. Or there would be consequences. It will create mistrust between us. If they are intent on continuing the occupation it will provoke a reaction.”
Until Joe Biden’s Presidency, terrorist organizations like the Taliban never got away with threatening to kill U.S. soldiers and American citizens.
