As Joe Biden’s representative, Karine Jean-Pierre is almost as confused as the man himself.
Even Democrats cringe every time she’s trying to explain away one of Sleepy Joe’s antics.
And when Sara Haines called her out on The View, Jean-Pierre wanted to sink into the floor and disappear.
President Joe Biden continues to claim that the economy is strong, but even Democrats know that’s dead wrong.
But when White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre appeared on The View she didn’t expect to be faced with dealing in reality.
Usually, The View hosts do a better job of propping up Joe Biden than the people he pays to do the job.
But then Sara Haines completely shocked everyone when challenged Jean-Pierre Biden’s economic failures.
Haines brought up an ABC News/Washington Post poll that found 41% of Americans are worse off economically since the Biden regime took over, meanwhile only a mere 16% say their finances are doing better with Biden in the White House.
That’s the worst results the poll has found in the 37-years it’s been conducted.
“Now if the economy is strong, why don’t more Americans feel that way?” Haines queried.
A clearly flustered Jean-Pierre insisted that the poll is meaningless and that the White House will “not pay too much attention” to it.
“Polls go up, polls go down. We all know this,” Jean-Pierre claimed. “I know you all talk about this very often, so we know that’s a reality.”
Of course, the number of polls deemed insignificant is snowballing as one measurement after the next shows that the public is increasingly dissatisfied with Joe Biden’s economy.
“So, again, we’re not going to pay too much attention to the polls, we are going to meet the American people where they are and continue to do what we can, give them a little bit of breathing room which is something that the President says every time he talks about the economy,” Jean-Pierre continued.
She then started spinning a tale blaming the pandemic for the current economic mess noting that “it’s been a very hard couple of years.”
Then she shifted her approach and started blaming former President Donald Trump for Biden’s economic problems.
“When the President walked into this administration, the economy was tanking, COVID was taking over, it was ravaging our country and he took action to make sure that we got the economy back up and running,” Jean-Pierre argued.
In reality, President Biden was handed an economic recovery from the pandemic carefully prepared by the Trump administration.
But the leftist President couldn’t possibly accept the conservative’s approach to recovery.
Soon the country’s economic problems began multiplying under Biden’s watch.
Inflation, gas, and energy prices have all shot up thanks to Biden’s failed policies.
Real wages are down thanks to inflation rapidly outpacing wage increases.
The polls merely reflect what American’s already know: Americans are poorer now than before Joe Biden got into office.
No amount of blame games on the part of the Biden regime is going to change that.
