For about 18-months, Jen Psaki was the mouthpiece for President Joe Biden and his administration.
Psaki fled the sinking ship of the Biden administration back in May and now can be seen on MSNBC.
And her former bosses at the White House are in a state of shock over what Psaki just admitted on national television.
The stakes are high for Tuesday, November 8, 2022.
Republicans and Democrats are squaring off all over the country.
Shake ups can happen in State Legislatures, Governorships, the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate.
On the national level, the GOP only needs to pick up a net of five flips in the House and one in the Senate to take over the majority in Congress.
If they’re able to do that, they could make President Joe Biden a lame duck for the remainder of his first term – and with all the talk of replacements at the top of the Democrat ticket in 2024, this first term could potentially be his only term.
Republicans started the year strong.
A bad economy, runaway inflation, record-high gas prices, skyrocketing crime rates, a crisis on the U.S. southern border, a fentanyl epidemic and a backlash against the woke agenda in government-run schools; all combined to have the party in power on the ropes.
However, a combination of the Supreme Court of the United States overturning Roe v. Wade and 15 RINOS in the Senate compromising away Americans’ gun rights led to the “Democrat comeback” narrative throughout the summer.
Now, the tides have turned again, and a Red Wave looks like it could be a possibility.
At least former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki thinks so.
Psaki was a guest on The Morning Joe on MSNBC – and she didn’t even have to “circle back” when asked about the upcoming Midterms.
“People are fearful about where the momentum is going in some of these races,” Psaki said. “Yes, there are very encouraging signs like the record early vote numbers, but numbers in some of the House races are not where they should be. People are trying to get – a lot of people I talk to are worried about voters being encouraged and excited about people at the top of the ticket and maybe not excited enough to vote for the congressional candidates and that’s a real concern.”
Psaki might not have been briefed on the fact that part of the high early voting numbers is coming from an unexpected number of Republican voters casting their ballots before Election Day in many states.
She also is glossing over the fact that the polling in every competitive U.S. Senate race is trending to the right as the election draws nearer.
“I think it’s a reflection of the fact that Democrats are kind of worried about where this is going right now and it’s felt worse over the last week or so,” Psaki continued. “That’s why I think you see Barack Obama, Joe Biden, all these people out on the trail, because they’re trying to light a fire with Democrats right now.”
President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are not going to battleground areas to help “get out the vote” for Democrat candidates.
Instead, thanks to their historically low approval ratings, the President and Vice President have been relegated largely to only going to the bluest of cities to fire up the radical Democrat base.
