The America First movement is Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
Establishment Republicans who despise the America First movement really don’t like him.
Now these GOP officials who betrayed Trump have their long knives out to bloody Ron DeSantis .
If Trump doesn’t run in 2024, Ron DeSantis is the clear front-runner.
Republican’s love that DeSantis didn’t fall in with the COVID alarmists and kept his state open, while pushing back against vaccine and mask mandates.
DeSantis is especially popular among Trump Supporters.
But Establishment never-Trump Republicans are working behind the scenes to stop the DeSantis train.
RINO Governors Chris Christie and Larry Hogan are seeking to convince newly elected Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin to join in their effort to purge Trump Republicans from the party.
BlazeTV host Steve Deace reported that a source at the Republican Governor’s Association Winter Meeting said anti-Trump RINOs Chris Christie and Larry Hogan were trying to convince newly-elected Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin to join their push to purge the GOP of Trump.
Deace tweeted that some attendees gave DeSantis the cold shoulder and looked ready to join the establishment’s war against Trump and his supporters.
From a little birdie at the RGA:
“Youngkin has guys like Christie and Hogan telling him he's the future away from Trump. Meanwhile, DeSantis spoke and I loved it but his fellow GOP govs were all like, yeah whatever. These people are going to start a war with their own base.”

Trump endorsed Youngkin but didn’t campaign for him in-state.
Youngkin campaigned on many issues popular with Trump supporters, like opposition to Critical Race Theory and mask and vaccine mandates.
Youngkin styled himself as his own brand of Republican, not really a Trump Republican but not anti-Trump either.
RINO’s like Christie and Hogan know that their own rabidly anti-Trump platforms would never win them the Republican nomination, which is why they are looking to co-opt someone like Youngkin.
These never-Trumpers want to convince you that Republicans can only win if they ditch the America First platform of Trump and DeSantis.
Whether or not Youngkin decides to jump into the 2024 race remains to be seen, but the GOP establishment is clearly already trying to get in his ear.
