Fox News has dominated the cable news industry for the past two decades – sitting at the number one spot year after year.
But after Fox News recently turned on President Trump – prematurely calling Joe Biden the winner in Arizona and falsely saying the Democrats gained seats in the U.S. House on November 3 – conservatives are abandoning the station in droves.
And one Fake News Network just surprised Fox News with a dire warning about its dwindling viewership.
With conservatives growing more fed up with Fox News by the day, alternative networks like Newsmax TV are gaining in popularity.
In fact, Newsmax TV just went from an average of 25,000 to 1 MILLION viewers for its primetime programs.
And other networks like One America News Network (OANN) have also seen an explosion in new viewers as conservatives continue to abandon Fox News.
It’s getting so bad for Fox News that CNN’s chief propagandist, Brian Steltzer, is rushing to Fox News’ defense by viciously attacking Newsmax and OANN – saying their viewers represent “the new birtherism.”
“I don’t want to call it an alternative reality anymore because it is not reality. There is nothing real about this. But in this fictional parallel universe, the election was rigged. It was stolen out from under Trump, and Trump was the rightful winner. This is the new birtherism,” said Steltzer during a recent episode on CNN.
“We are going to be reckoning with the consequences of these lies for years,” he added, before issuing a worrisome warning to Fox News.
“This is real. This is something real that’s happening. Not among all Fox viewers. The network’s ratings are still very high, but there is a balkanization going on, a breaking up of right-wing media, with some Fox fans giving up on the channel and going elsewhere instead.”
Many see CNN’s Brian Steltzer, who dedicated his career to attacking Fox News – even publishing a book accusing them of being lapdogs for President Trump – suddenly being worried about their dwindling viewership as a sure sign that conservatives are done with Fox News and actively seeking out alternatives.
