Polls keep giving Biden bad news about his chances at reelection next year.
According to the latest RealClearPolitics poll average, 55.8% of all Americans disapprove of Joe Biden’s job as President.
The latest polls all show Donald Trump running far ahead of Biden in 5 of 6 of the major battleground states.
In fact, even a recent poll by the far-left New York Times, shows Donald Trump ahead of Joe Biden by 11 points in Nevada, 5 points in Arizona, 4 points in Pennsylvania, 6 points in Georgia, and 5 points in Michigan.
Of the top 6 key battleground states, Joe Biden is only leading Donald Trump in Wisconsin by 2 points.
“President Biden is trailing Donald J. Trump in five of the six most important battleground states one year before the 2024 election, suffering from enormous doubts about his age and deep dissatisfaction over his handling of the economy and a host of other issues,” DNYUZ reported.
But unfortunately for Joe Biden and the Democrats this is not the only bad news.
Black voters have been the most reliable Democrat voting bloc in the country for the past few decades.
Exit polls showed Joe Biden won roughly 87% of the black vote in 2020, but that was already a big drop from Obama’s 95% of black voters.
And now it looks like Biden could be losing even more support among this traditionally reliable group of voters.
During a recent edition of CNN’s AC360, former Barack Obama advisor and current CNN commentator Van Jones sounded the alarm about Biden losing black voters.
“There’s no word big enough for the amount of concern, because people, it is hurt, it’s remarkable,” Jones told Cooper.Â
He told Cooper he is worried because Biden has failed to get anything done for the black community.
“The things that black people came out and voted for and voted about, George Floyd, the John Lewis civil rights, nothing has gotten done on the black card,” Jones said. “And so, it’s starting to feel like, wow, the economy isn’t that good and our issues didn’t get taken seriously and what are we supposed to do?”Â
Jones said even though many blacks are “anti-Trump,” there are a lot of “people who are having a problem filling up their gas tank and they’ve got other stuff that they’re concerned about.”
Because of this, Jones warned that Joe Biden stands to lose a portion of the black vote in 2024.
“We stand in these long lines for hours and hours and hours, we’re getting gerrymandered, we have to fight so hard just to vote, and then, the neighborhood’s not any better and then affirmative action gets taken away, and then the voting rights [are] worse and the gerrymandering is worse and nothing is happening,” Jones said about the black community under Joe Biden.
Van Jones is worried.
James Carville is worried. David Axelrod is worried.
And Joe Biden should be worried, too.
If Joe Biden loses just a small fraction of the black vote, it would almost certainly mean he, and the Democrats, lose the White House next year.
