Tucker Carlson’s no-nonsense, tell it like it is attitude has been a major part of his surge to stardom.
He continues to be a significant thorn in the side of liberals worldwide, and now it seems he’s even ruffling the feathers of some at Fox News.
And this Fox News regular called out Tucker Carlson, but the network star came out on top as usual.
Biden’s door-to-door vaccine push has garnered wide criticism, and Tucker Carlson has been one of the most vocal opponents on the Right.
Carlson has not shied away from blasting the program and calling out the Biden administration for its blatant abuse of power and violation of American’s privacy.
However, not everyone at Fox News shares Carlson’s feelings.
Jonah Goldberg is a well-known author and regular on Fox News.
Goldberg has been a rather vocal member of the Never-Trump circle and has moved more Left of center over the last few years.
In Goldberg’s most recent liberal-leaning rant, he defended Biden’s Orwellian door-to-door vaccine program.
Goldberg wrote in a Los Angeles Times column:
“Besides, what’s actually wrong with going door-to-door to inform people where, how, and why they should get vaccinated? People go door-to-door all the time. The Census Bureau does it (and that is in the Constitution). Campaigns do it, as do churches, charities, and activist groups. Supporting local officials and volunteers to promote vaccination is a perfectly reasonable response to an ongoing pandemic — with new strains popping up — that has cost America more than 600,000 lives and trillions of dollars.”
Goldberg appears to be missing the clear violation of privacy going on in this door-to-door program.
The Biden administration has still not disclosed how they’re compiling the data of houses they’re sending vaccine “strike” teams to.
Most elected Democrats remain tight-lipped about mandating the vaccine, but it is likely a very real possibility.
But the Biden White House has already announced he supports state and local governments forcing Americans to get vaccinated.
Right now, it’s a matter of how they can federally mandate such a measure in a way that appeases the squishier side of the Judicial Branch and jurists like SCOTUS Chief Justice John Roberts. No doubt, once they figure that out, they’ll proceed with blatantly unconstitutional vaccine mandates and then passports.
Goldberg is just another liberal who tries to play the conservative role.
His claim that those opposing the door-to-door program are “embarrassing” is clear evidence of where he really stands on issues.
“I’m not arguing for the feds to go knocking on doors to promote getting vaccinated — especially now that the right has primed people to be outraged by it. But the hysteria is embarrassing,” Goldberg concluded.
What Goldberg and many like him neglect to say is that this is only the beginning.
If Americans cave to this door-to-door program, there’s no telling what else the government will do.
Next, they’ll be coming to check on how many firearms you own.
All in the name of “safety,” right?
