Recently one document from the Obama regime that was never supposed to be seen made its way out into the spotlight.
It has Joe Biden and the Democrats seemingly caught in a huge lie – a lie they used from the very first impeachment of former President Donald Trump which they claimed was over a phone call to the Ukrainian President.
State Department officials even testified during the impeachment that Hunter Biden taking a job on the board of Ukrainian energy company Burisma might have appeared to be a conflict of interest, but it didn’t change American policy towards the country.
But now, Just the News has revealed a classified email to the Obama regime’s ambassador to Ukraine admitting that Hunter joining Burisma affected American policy.
“The real issue to my mind was that someone in Washington needed to engage VP Biden quietly and say that his son Hunter’s presence on the Burisma board undercut the anti-corruption message the VP and we were advancing in Ukraine b/c Ukrainians heard one message from us and then saw another set of behavior with the family association with a known corrupt figure whose company was known for not playing by the rules,” embassy official George Kent wrote in 2016.
And a memo has also been uncovered revealing that in 2015 the Obama regime wanted to give Ukraine a $1 billion loan guarantee because of the progress the country was making in “rooting out corruption.”
Vice President Joe Biden then threatened to withhold that loan guarantee unless the Ukrainian government fired anti-corruption prosecutor Viktor Shokin who was investigating Burisma.
Biden clearly used the promised loan guarantee as leverage to get Shokin fired, all because of Hunter Biden’s position on the Burisma board.
This despite the fact that State Department officials had just sent a personal note to Shokin calling his work “impressive” and inviting him to Washington, D.C. for a strategy session.
But then, just weeks later, after Joe Biden put the screws to them, the Ukrainian government fired the “impressive” prosecutor.
It turned out Shokin was closing in on Burisma during his investigation and had the full support of the Obama regime except for one key person, Joe Biden.
Joe Biden even bragged in a 2018 video about withholding the loan guarantee to get Shokin fired while his son was being paid $83,333 a month by Burisma for a no-show job on the company’s board.
“I said, ‘You’re not getting the billion.’ I’m going to be leaving here in, I think it was about six hours. I looked at them and said: ‘I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money,’” Biden said. “Well, son of a b*tch, he got fired.”
Democrats used Trump asking Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate Shokin’s firing as a flimsy pretext to impeach the former President.
Now we know those impeachment efforts were just an attempt to cover up Joe Biden’s actions.
Joe Biden looks more and more like he used his position, and economic blackmail, to make sure the investigation of Burisma was stopped dead in its tracks.
