Hunter’s growing scandals are becoming more dangerous for President Joe Biden every day.
That’s why there is one important fact Joe Biden was attempting to keep hidden from the American people about the Hunter Special Counsel appointment.
The Hunter Biden investigation took a shocking turn recently.
Joe Biden’s Attorney General Merrick Garland made a last-ditch effort to trick the American people by naming U.S. Attorney David Weiss as Special Counsel in the Hunter Biden investigation.
But Garland’s attempt failed to have its desired effect.
That’s because in reality, Garland’s action was nothing more than another weak attempt to cover-up Hunter Biden’s potential criminal activity.
And it is also an effort to hide all of Joe Biden’s connections to Hunter’s illegal activities.
Most observers realize Weiss is the same prosecutor who initially tried to cut Hunter Biden a sweetheart plea deal on two tax charges.
And the plea deal shockingly provided Hunter Biden blanket immunity from any future criminal prosecution on any charges.
The plea deal would have effectively ended any investigations into Hunter Biden’s foreign lobbying.
This in effect would have meant an end to any investigations into Joe Biden’s involvement in these allegedly corrupt foreign lobbying deals.
Even though Weiss is now claiming the plea deal is no longer in effect, most legal experts are deriding the appointment of Weiss.
For example, former federal prosecutor Andy McCarthy attacked the appointment of Weiss as yet another Biden administration decision which is corrupting the Justice Department.
“This is a sham. There is no Special Counsel investigation. There is no Biden investigation,” McCarthy stated.
But McCarthy went even further saying the worst part of the Weiss appointment is that Merrick Garland violated Justice Department rules.
DOJ regulations specifically state that the Attorney General must name a lawyer from outside of government as Special Counsel.
“What makes a Special Counsel special is that you’re a lawyer who’s brought in from outside the United States government,” McCarthy added.
McCarthy also noted that U.S. Attorney Weiss is “a top official in the Biden Justice Department.”
The former prosecutor explained that appointing Weiss was just the latest in a series of actions by the Biden Justice Department to cover up Joe Biden’s involvement in an alleged foreign influence peddling scheme.
“This is the Biden Justice Department’s vehicle for maintaining control of an investigation that they are not pursuing,” McCarthy stated.
McCarthy went on, “They’ve had the case for five years. They’ve never indicted it. They’re strategically allowing the statute of limitations to run to the point that the 2014 and 2015 conduct, which covers most of the $21 million that the congressional investigation report showed this week, that’s already time-barred.”
This latest effort is even more proof that Joe Biden is weaponizing the DOJ even more than it already has been.
And that weaponization of the DOJ doesn’t just mean using the DOJ to go after Donald Trump and other conservatives, but it also means using the law enforcement agency to defend Joe Biden.
The weaponized Department of Justice has been working overtime to Biden and other Democrats.
And by appointing David Weiss as Special Counsel in the Hunter Biden investigation, Merrick Garland and the DOJ are just proving they are out to cover up all alleged crimes by the Biden crime family.
