Joe Biden is the oldest President in history.
The majority of Americans already believe Joe Biden is not mentally or physically fit enough to perform his duties as President.
But this one shocking reason will stop Joe Biden from stepping aside in 2024.
During a recent interview on 60 Minutes, host Scott Pelley pressed Joe Biden to reveal whether or not he plans to run for a second term in 2024.
Biden listed off a number of reasons why he would not say one way or the other if he planned to run again in 2024.
Of course, federal campaign finance laws play a factor in making an official announcement, as doing so would change how he is allowed to raise and spend money.
“Look, if I were to say to you, ‘I’m running again,’ all of a sudden, a whole range of things come into play that I have – requirements I have to change and move and do,” Biden began.
Even though Biden admitted he intended to run in 2024, he also left some wiggle room in case he changed his mind down the road.
“Look, my intention, as I said, that I began with is that I would run again. But it’s just an intention. But is it a firm decision that I run again? That remains to be seen,” Biden added.
Joe Biden would be 86 by the end of a second term.
He’s already suffering from declining mental and physical abilities, which Democrats know would be a major liability during a 2024 campaign.
CNN’s Gloria Borger gave her thoughts on Biden’s interview with 60 Minutes.
Borger said Biden is leaving his options open because of Donald Trump.
Borger said Joe Biden would certainly run if Donald Trump also runs again in 2024.
“He’s equivocating, isn’t he? Look, I went back and looked at what he said in March of 2021. He said my plan is to run for re-election. That’s my expectation. Now, the cement is cracking beneath his feet. And I think that’s because he wants to see, number one, who else is running. If Donald Trump were to run, that would be an incentive, I think, for him to run,” Borger stated.
Of course, Biden has the insane belief that he is the only Democrat who can defeat Donald Trump.
But he also believes the Democrats would renominate him even though he would be 82 and is already suffering from cognitive decline.
