RINOs are busy shoring up support for Joe Biden’s radical Supreme Court nominee, Ketanji Brown Jackson.
Conservatives are aghast at the effort to gain favor from powerful leftists.
And now one RINO Senator just started something with Ted Cruz that he won’t be able to finish.
Nebraska’s RINO Senator Ben Sasse tries to pretend he’s some sort of deep conservative intellectual.
In the six years he’s been in office he’s literally done nothing for conservatives, but he’s made plenty of leftist friends.
The Mitt Romney-style Republican is really after all the positive press he can get from The New York Times and others in the Biden Media Complex.
That’s why Sasse—who was elected in 2015—came out as a Never-Trumper.
And he really showed his true colors when he voted to convict Donald Trump during the Democrat’s second fabricated impeachment proceeding.
Now instead of taking a stand against Joe Biden’s unqualified leftist Supreme Court nominee, Sasse is busy tearing into Republicans who are actually doing the work they were elected to handle.
Sasse was infuriated when Texas Senator Ted Cruz grilled Jackson on her history of protecting pedophiles and child pornographers—as well as her refusal to even define the word “woman.”
As a result, Sasse asked Jackson a pointless question about putting cameras in the Supreme Court as an excuse to publicly jump all over Cruz.
“Transparency is a good thing. I also believe that pen and pad can facilitate a whole heck of a lot of transparency just fine. And it’s healthy for Americans to recognize the second and third and fourth order effects of cameras,” Sasse stated. “A huge part of why this institution doesn’t work well is because we have cameras everywhere.”
Sasse then took his dig at Ted Cruz and other Republicans accusing them of “jackassery” because they had the nerve to question Jackson on her stunningly awful record and extreme leftist views on Critical Race Theory, gender identity politics, and her soft spot—and short sentences—for pedophiles.
“There’s a whole bunch of things that humans can do if they’re not immediately mindful of some distant camera audience that they might be trying to create a sound bite for. And Instagram can be useful for some small things but for intellectual discourse, it is not a friend. And I think we should recognize that the jackassery we often see around here is partly because of people looking for short-term camera opportunities,” Sasse said.
If anyone is in politics for the positive press, it’s Sasse himself.
In the six years he’s been in office he’s literally done nothing for conservatives, but he’s made plenty of leftist friends.
The fake conservative spent most of his time in office fighting Donald Trump tooth and nail—and working to win CNN’s approval.
Now that Trump is out of office Sasse is constantly fishing for new conservatives to attack.
