President Trump withdrew America from Barack Obama’s horrendous Iran Nuclear Deal – a deal that placed Iran on a direct path toward acquiring a nuclear weapon.
Joe Biden has promised to rejoin the Iran Nuclear Deal should he become President in January.
But this secret assassination may have just ruined Joe Biden’s hope for a nuclear Iran.
According to The New York Times, the architect of Iran’s nuclear program was assassinated recently while on a trip in the northern region of the country.
“Iran’s top nuclear scientist, who American and Israeli intelligence have long charged was behind secret programs to design an atomic warhead, was shot and killed in an ambush on Friday as he was traveling in a vehicle in northern Iran, Iranian state media reported.
“The scientist, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, believed to be 59, has been considered the driving force behind Iran’s nuclear weapons program for two decades, and continued to work after the main part of the effort was quietly disbanded in the early 2000s, according to American intelligence assessments and Iranian nuclear documents stolen by Israel,” wrote The New York Times.
Of course, no one really knows who is responsible for the assassination.
But the majority of intelligence agencies around the world all believe Israel was likely behind it, especially given the fact that Iran has been promising to “wipe Israel off the map” for several years and a nuclear weapon would allow them to be able to achieve this goal once and for all.
Taking out the chief architect of Iran’s nuclear program will not only stop Iran from “wiping Israel off the map,” but it will also hamper Joe Biden’s ability to rejoin the horrendous Iran Nuclear Deal.
