Joe Biden can’t seem to keep a lid on his son Hunter’s laptop.
But try as he might there’s no putting the toothpaste back into the tube on this one.
And this top CIA official’s bombshell confession about Hunter Biden just sent the Biden regime into chaos.
After The New York Post dropped their original “laptop from hell” bombshell in October 2020, exposing the fact that Hunter Biden was under federal investigation for a host of felonies, a letter signed by more than 50 “former intelligence officials” magically appeared, claiming the emails found on the laptop – which exposed his family’s corruption – were “Russian disinformation.”
Of course, as has now been exposed, that letter was nothing more than a coverup perpetrated by Biden campaign adviser and now-Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, who instructed former Obama CIA Director Michael Morrell to craft the letter and recruit co-signers in order to discredit The New York Post’s legitimate, 100% true reporting.
In previous Congressional testimony, Morrell admitted that Secretary Blinken was the “impetus” for the effort, leading House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Mike Turner (R-OH) to conclude that it is “apparent” the Biden campaign “played an active role in the origins of the public statement, which had the effect of helping to suppress the Hunter Biden story and preventing American citizens from making a fully informed decision during the 2020 Presidential election.”
Now, in an interview with Fox News’ John Roberts, former CIA senior office and station chief Dan Hoffman revealed that he too was sent a copy of the letter to sign prior to its release.
But according to Hoffman, it was apparent to him from the first time he looked at the letter that it wasn’t based in reality, as the letter itself even noted that there was no evidence to back up the “Russian disinformation” claims.
“I remember I got the letter October 18, 2020, and at first glance, it seemed natural to lay the blame at the Kremlin’s doorstep,” Hoffman told Roberts. “Remember, Vladimir Putin is in the Kremlin and he’s well known for cloak-and-dagger espionage operations. But at the same time, there was no evidence and the letter noted there was no evidence. And I just felt like we needed to do the forensics.”
Hoffman went on to note that while he served under Morrell in the CIA, top agency officials such as himself would have extensive debates over whether they had the evidence to draw analytical conclusions with some degree of certainty.
But when it came to the “Russian disinformation” claims around Hunter Biden’s laptop, the former top CIA official revealed there was no such debate – they were just told to sign it.
“There were many others who — who didn’t sign it,” Hoffman revealed. “Look, when I was at CIA, we would sit in Michael Morell’s office when we had a particularly difficult, challenging intelligence issue, and we would hash out all the evidence that we have – the intelligence we had – and then Michael would draw analytical conclusions with some level of confidence — low, medium, or high — and bring it to the White House.”
“We didn’t have that debate about this laptop issue,” he added. “We weren’t invited to debate it.”
Based on Morrell’s testimony, it’s been clear that the Biden campaign was directly responsible for creating the verifiably false “Russian disinformation” narrative to cover up then-candidate Joe Biden and his family’s corruption.
But Hoffman’s revelation that many in the intelligence community knew from the beginning that such claims were not based in reality raises a whole host of other major issues.
The idea that more than 50 former intelligence officials may have known all along that they were actively lying to the American people in order to influence a Presidential election should send a chill down every American’s spine.
