Donald Trump is headed back to the White House.
And the Democrats are already in full-blown panic mode and trying to explain their crushing defeat.
That’s why this “woke” Mayor tried pushing one ridiculous message after Trump’s resounding victory.
Baltimore Mayor slams Trump after his huge election win
Democrats thought they were finished with Donald Trump after January 6 and a slew of lawfare efforts.
But it turned out Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ mishandling of everything from the economy to foreign policy gave Trump the opening he needed.
And the unprecedented lawfare against Trump backfired and gave him the opportunity for a remarkable political comeback.
Trump now returns to the White House with a clear mandate, having won both the Electoral College and the popular vote.
However, that means nothing to the radical #Resistance Democrats.
They now fancy themselves as freedom fighters against a “fascist” regime.
That’s why far-left Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott has brazenly promised to “protect” his citizens from the Orange Man.
Kamala Harris got crushed all over the electoral map, but she got 60% of the vote in Maryland, and 84% of the vote in Baltimore, which is a notorious one-party town.
After her big loss, Scott said in a video message, “I don’t know everything that a second Trump presidency will bring to Baltimore, but if he follows through on some of his dark and violent promises, we know that we are looking at challenges in the years ahead. . .Baltimore will always be a place that welcomes and protects our residents no matter what they look like, who they love, where they were born or how they choose to live their lives.”
But the constant fear-mongering about Trump is particularly hollow considering he was already President of the United States, and none of their conspiracy theories about him came true.
Now they claim Harris lost because of “sexism”
Scott then chastised the country for failing to elect Harris claiming it’s only because America is “steeped in racism, sexism and misogyny.”
This is nothing new, every time Democrats lose elections, the first thing they do is insult the American people.
They call them dumb or bigoted or both.
In their warped minds, it couldn’t possibly be that people did not vote for Harris because they simply thought she was a bad candidate, which she was.
Scott continued, “It is really on my heart this morning to say that as a man, but more importantly as a black man, that this country does not deserve black women. . .They have carried this country and saved this country too many times and continue to be the most disrespected human beings on the planet and quite frankly it disgusts me.”
This over-the-top male feminist virtue-signaling might play well with Scott’s constituents, but it is alienating even more people and chasing them away from the Democrat Party.
That’s one of the reasons why Trump did much better than expected among black men, receiving 20% of the vote from that demographic.
It’s also ironic that the mayor of Baltimore, one of the most violent and dangerous major cities in the country, is talking about how he will protect his city from Trump.
Perhaps he should work on protecting his city from itself.
If Democrats continue down this path, they will only lose more elections.
The American people spoke loudly on Election Day.
They are sick and tired of the gaslighting and over-the-top “wokeness” like the utterances of Mayor Scott.
