Tim Walz was supposed to be the one big trick up Kamala Harris’ sleeve.
But he has fumbled every step along the way towards Election Day.
And Tim Walz just received one brutal greeting from college football fans that left him fleeing in a fit of rage.
Tim Walz gets jeered at and mocked at college rivalry football game
Minnesota Democrat Governor Tim Walz was recruited by Kamala Harris to join her on the ticket because she thought he would appeal to male and working-class Americans.
The campaign had sent Tim Walz, a former high school assistant football coach, to the crucial swing state of Michigan to attend the rivalry football match between the University of Michigan and the University of Minnesota.
The showing was intended to be a great opportunity for Walz to appear more like an average American in the important election state.
The match was set to bring in a large audience, as both teams played against one another for the Little Brown Jug trophy in one of the older, and often one-sided rivalries within the Big 10.
But the trip did not go as well for Walz as he thought it would.
Almost immediately, his campaign bus was booed by fans due to holding up entry into the stadium as they were all forced to wait outside in the rainy weather.

Fans started chants of “Tampon Tim” due to his signing of a law that placed free tampons inside of boy’s bathrooms in all of Minnesota’s government schools.
But things started to get weird when Walz went to speak with the Minnesota football head coach P.J. Fleck, only to become overly ecstatic to see the Gopher mascot.

Things took a turn for the worse, however, once Trump supporters at the game caught Walz off guard.
One of those attendees started chanting “Trump 2024 baby!” in his direction, when he decided to flee the stadium, but not without flipping off the crowd before exiting.

In a stark contrast to this show of disapproval for Walz, former President Donald Trump attended the Georgia Alabama match that same night and was welcomed with pride and excitement.
Donald Trump receives booming cheers at college football game
Trump paid a visit to one of the biggest games of the college football season between the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Georgia Bulldogs at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
He attended the game alongside Senators Tommy Tuberville (R-AL), Katie Britt (R-AL), as well as Kid Rock, John Daly, and a few others.
Once his attendance was noticed, immediately the crowd roared into cheers and chants of “USA! USA! USA!” around the concession where he grabbed some food for the game.

Former President Trump tossed out several boxes of chicken tenders to the adoring crowd all around him.
But the cheers only became more mountainous once he received a shoutout during the game on the stadium’s jumbotron.

During the game’s halftime show, Trump participated in an interview with OutKick’s Clay Travis.
“This is really big time football, and it’s great to see,” Trump told Travis.
In the interview, Travis inquired about Trump’s appeal to young voters during this election cycle.
“We’re way up with young people,” Trump responded. “It’s an honor.”
“They’re very smart. And she [Kamala Harris] berated them, saying that ‘they aren’t smart’ and, I’ll be honest, they’re a lot smarter than her,” he added.
Trump also pitched his opinion on the massive, controversial rule change to the NFL’s kickoff.
“Big time college football is as big as the NFL,” Trump started. “I don’t know what they’re doing with the kickoff return in the NFL. And I don’t want to get involved in controversy, of course, but it looks so bad.”
“And I noticed that they hadn’t done that in college, and they shouldn’t do it,” he continued. “And I think the NFL should go back. And maybe it is a little bit more dangerous, but I doubt that it’s any more dangerous.”
“It’s football,” Trump declared. “I think they made a terrible mistake in doing that.”
