Kamala Harris showed the world how radical she truly is after recruiting far-left Tim Walz to run as her Vice Presidential candidate.
On the day of the announcement, Walz couldn’t help himself but to embarrass the entire Democrat Party.
And Tim Walz just landed himself in a major scandal after breaking reality by spreading this one disgusting lie.
Walz gets exposed as a radical online conspiracy theorist
When Tim Walz accepted the offer by Kamala Harris to run as her Vice Presidential candidate, he left America’s jaw dropped to the floor.
In his speech, he proved that he is an internet hyperconspiracy theorist who is not afraid to climb down into the gutter.
Without hesitation, Walz intentionally took time to drag Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) – Donald Trump’s running mate – right through the mud.
“I can’t wait to debate the guy,” Walz shouted to the crowd. “That is if he’s willing to get off the couch and show up.”
Walz was referencing a clearly bogus and easily debunked lie found online that was spread immediately after Trump announced Vance to be his running mate.
A random person on the internet took to X (formerly Twitter) to falsely claim that J.D. Vance had admitted to having sex with his couch in his best-selling novel Hillbilly Elegy.
“Can’t say for sure, but he might be the first VP pick to have admitted in a New Times bestseller to f****** an inside-out latex glove shoved between two couch cushions,” said the user on X.
Walz looked insanely proud of himself for pushing that obviously phony claim.
“You see what I did there?” Walz laughed as the crowd cheered the misinformation on.
Walz’s disgusting lie goes viral
Democrats have a record of complaining that news outlets should give zero coverage to rallies for Donald Trump because they allege that he spreads misinformation.
But that didn’t stop Walz from knowingly spreading his own election misinformation to try and gain an edge on his opponent.
But the only reason that this disgusting lie made it this far was because the Associated Press decided to publish a fact check on the claim made about Vance by an anonymous account with barely any followers.
Nobody would have heard this insane claim had the Associated Press not covered it.
Possibly the weirdest headline about a major-party candidate the @ap has ever run: https://t.co/bObA1toMdo pic.twitter.com/k5wHIrniGk

But the decision to amplify this lie was a calculated decision that served its intentionally malicious purpose.
Soon after the outrage began, the Associated Press deleted their fact check page and claimed that their coverage was actually a mistake.
Anyone with more than a single brain cell knew that there was no reason to “fact check” a clearly bogus claim made by an anonymous account online with essentially no followers.
But the reason for the fact check was a matter of political engineering, trying to inject the disgusting claim into the general political discussion so other fake news media could continue amplifying the story.
And it worked exactly as planned.
By the end of July, online searches for “J.D. Vance” and “couch” had well-exceeded searches about the Trump assassination attempt.
However, there was help on the other end of that comparison, considering that search engines like Google had been playing funny games with search results about the July 13th assassination attempt.
Trump shooting coverup goes further than auto-complete. Google "July 13th 2024" and you'll get Trump's name in a video of a comic joking "political violence is hiliarious," calling him a "racist" and "Emperor Palpatine" https://t.co/Hs4LuKLPZC pic.twitter.com/1LHukJgH2M

But Walz’s bogus claim was so disgusting and offensive that even some Never-Trumpers who hate J.D. Vance – mostly due to his opposition to funding the war in Ukraine – thought that he had significantly crossed the line.
This is a bad sign, guys. https://t.co/Qmf3pkEm85
