If it wasn’t for Kamala Harris, there’s little doubt that Tim Walz would go down in history as the worst national candidate ever put forward by either major party.
Walz isn’t going away.
But Tim Walz just short-circuited on live TV when CNN asked him to answer this straightforward question.
The blind leading the blind
For the bulk of most Americans’ lives, the Democrat Party has always been a well-oiled political machine – after all, prior to 2024, they had won the popular vote in five of the six Presidential elections since 2000 despite all sorts of failures and extreme positions.
But over the past year, the tide seems to be turning.
Now, as President, Donald Trump and his new administration are in the midst of what at least appears to be the early stages of historic, nation-saving government reform, the Democrat Party is seemingly imploding.
For months now, many Americans have expected Democrats to regroup and present some sort of organized, disciplined onslaught against the Trump administration, but the Left has simply resorted to running around like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off.
And worse yet for Democrats, the fact that their Party has become a rudderless ship lost at sea without a captain has not escaped the notice of their media allies, who are more desperate than most for their left-wing overlords to give them something – anything – they can work with.
During a recent interview with failed former Vice Presidential candidate and current Minnesota Democrat Governor Tim Walz, CNN’s Kasie Hunt asked point blank to name the Party’s current leader.
“Who do you think the leader of the Democratic Party is right now?” Hunt asked.
Of course, seeing as how Walz is only months removed from being Democrats’ Vice Presidential nominee, it would only be logical that he would have at least some idea who the Party is looking to as their next standard-bearer.
After all, in recent weeks, Walz has been on the left-wing media circuit, openly criticizing Democrats’ 2024 Presidential campaign, which he obviously was a supposed leader of at the time, causing left-wing outlets like The New Yorker to run headlines such as, “Tim Walz Might Run For President in 2028 If You Ask Him Nicely.”
Yet, despite seemingly beginning to lay the groundwork to position himself as his Party’s next leader – which for the record, would undoubtedly be the ultimate gift to Republicans – the Democrat Governor appeared totally dumbfounded by Hunt’s question.
Democrats’ lone hope in 2028
After staring into the camera blankly for a few agonizing seconds, Walz claimed “the voting public” serves as Democrats’ current leader.
“I think the voting public, right now, is what I would say,” he said.
But he also wasn’t done there.
Walz then proceeded to admit that Democrats are “not going to have a charismatic leader ride in here and save us from this,” before adding that the Party should be “out there standing alongside” voters, even though polls continue to show that Democrats’ extreme positions on most every major issue are opposed by the majority of voters.
Surprisingly, Hunt didn’t stop there.
She proceeded to ask Walz point blank whether or not he was planning to run for President himself in 2028.
And just as he’s been doing on his recent left-wing media tour, Walz flirted with the idea despite how horrendous of a Vice Presidential candidate he proved to be.
“I don’t need to be on the ticket, but I do need to be there, I believe, because what I saw in the country and what we’re able to do,” Walz stated.
In the end, Democrats simply continue to prove that they learned absolutely nothing from their most recent electoral failure.
Walz lied about virtually every aspect of his life, gave normal humans the creeps, was potentially compromised by a foreign adversary, and pushed the most extreme ideas imaginable.
But Democrats seem hell-bent on simply doubling down on every wrong decision they’ve made for years now and will stop at nothing to will their alternate version of reality into existence.
And based on the way things are going, it may very well be their undoing.
