The public life of a celebrity often comes with a scary dark side.

Being in the public spotlight can create a whole new set of problems for the rich and famous.

And the FBI issued one chilling warning that had Travis Kelce sweating bullets over Taylor Swift.

FBI issues a warning to professional athletes after a series of burglaries

President Joe Biden’s decision to open the southern border and roll out the welcome for illegal aliens has created a scary scenario for all Americans.

And now it’s even affecting professional athletes.

Hardened and violent criminals have crossed the border with ease along with the millions of illegal aliens who’ve entered the U.S.

Now the FBI has issued a warning to professional athletes to be on high alert after a string of high-profile burglaries of star players’ homes.

“These homes are targeted for burglary due to the perception they may have high-end goods like designer handbags, jewelry, watches, and cash,” the FBI said in a Liaison Information Report obtained by ABC News.

The FBI report warned that “organized theft groups allegedly burglarized the homes of at least nine professional athletes” since September.

Organized crime rings from South America are targeting the homes of professional athletes in hopes of big scores.

They’re aided by the fact that players’ game and practice schedules are public record so they know when they’re not going to be home.

Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, and others have been victims already

Kansas City Chiefs stars Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes were among the early victims of these organized theft rings.

Kelce had $100,000 worth of jewelry stolen and a jersey he wore in the Super Bowl.

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow and Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Dončić also both had their homes broken into.

So far, at least nine professional athletes have had their homes broken into.

“While many burglaries occur while homes are unoccupied, some burglaries occur while residents are home,” the FBI report stated. “In these instances, individuals are encouraged to seek law enforcement help and avoid engaging with criminals, as they may be armed or use violence if confronted.”

Burrow’s home was broken into while he was playing on Monday Night Football against the Dallas Cowboys.

Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Olivia Ponton was in Burrow’s home when the break-in occurred and scared off the intruders before they were able to completely ransack the place.

The FBI warned that the South American theft rings conduct careful surveillance of property before they finally make their move.

“These preparation tactics enable theft groups to conduct burglaries in a short amount of time. Organized theft groups bypass alarm systems, use Wi-Fi jammers to block Wi-Fi connections and disable devices, cover security cameras, and obfuscate their identities,” the FBI report explained.

Criminals will often pose as joggers and deliverymen to get a closer look at the house.

And members of the landscaping and gardening crews for the homes are suspected of giving the theft ring details about the property.

The criminals will then track the athletes’ social media profiles to try to figure out where they are.

It is now clearer than ever that no one in America is safe after Joe Biden opened the southern border to any criminal from around the world who wants to stroll into the country.
