Former Congressman Trey Gowdy has a way with words.
During his time in Congress, he earned a national reputation for his ability to destroy liberal Democrats by simply pointing out the facts.
And Trey Gowdy just destroyed Democrat Cori Bush in one unbelievable way.
Missouri Democrat Cori Bush is one of the new darlings of the liberal media.
She recently led a protest over letting an unconstitutional Centers for Disease Control eviction moratorium expire that ended with Joe Biden and the Democrats mandating a massive infringement on property rights.
After Cori Bush slept on the steps of the Capitol for one night, Joe Biden caved in to her demands by issuing a new, illegal CDC eviction ban.
But even that wasn’t enough for liberal Cori Bush.
In fact, Cori Bush, who is calling for defunding the police, apparently spent $70,000 on her own private security force.
And when asked about her hiring private security during an interview with CBS News, Bush refused to apologize for the privilege of being able to afford $70,000 for security while calling for defunding the police and removing the ability of everyday citizens to feel safe from the threat of crime.
Not only that, but Bush also said she believes only her life matters and that regular folks need to “suck it up” and suffer the ravages of the crime because “defunding the police has to happen.”
“I’m gonna make sure I have security because I know I have had attempts on my life, and I have too much work to do, there are too many people that need help right now for me to allow that. So if I end up spending $200,000, if I end up spending $10 more on it, you know what? I get to come out and get to be here to do the work, so suck it up and defunding the police has to happen. We need to defund the police and put the money into social safety nets because we’re trying to save lives,” Bush ranted at the cameras.
Even though most politicians are arrogant, they try to make voters believe they are “salt of the Earth” type people.
But Cori Bush flat-out stated that she is more important than the average person.
Democrats like Cori Bush prove they couldn’t care whatever ills befall average citizens with declarations that gutting law enforcement is a necessary sacrifice.
And Trey Gowdy took Bush to task over what he called the most outrageous interview he’s ever watched.
“The single most illogical interview I think I have ever seen. She says she’s the victim of a crime, and then in the next sentence she wants to defund the group that would investigate whether or not she’s the victim of a crime. Who does she think investigates threats against public officials? It’s not psychologists! And then she says I’m gonna be safe, but you’re on your own and I want my body safe on this planet but good luck to you on Neptune. It is illogical, but transparent. She was very clear, and we’re gonna see that tape again,” Gowdy stated.
