Joe Biden’s illegal open border policy is creating a massive drug and humanitarian crisis that’s shocked the world.
A tsunami of drugs, including the deadly fentanyl, and illegal aliens is surging over the southern border.
Meanwhile, Biden administration officials, including supposed “Border Czar” Kamala Harris, are lying through their teeth and claiming the border is “secure.”
Securely in the hands of thugs and cartel operators, that is.
This year Border Patrol agents have “encountered” a record two million illegals for the Federal government fiscal year ending September 30.
They’ve also found never before seen amounts of fentanyl flowing into the country.
Watching from the sideline, Chad Wolf, who served as acting Secretary of Homeland Security for Donald Trump is horrified.
He knows what it looks like when successful border security policies are in place—and he says the current mess isn’t even close.
“The border is anything but secure,” Wolf said during an episode of Trey Gowdy’s Sunday Night in America. “There is no operational control over that border. We continue to see, month after month really, astronomically high numbers, over 200,000 illegal apprehensions, over 900,000 got away this fiscal year.”
According to Border Control estimates, about five million illegals from more than 150 countries have slipped over the border since Joe Biden took over the Oval Office in January last year.
“When you have that much unlawful and uncontrolled migration coming across that border, you have no control over it,” Wolf added. “You don’t know who’s entering and who’s not.”
It’s an obviously dangerous situation with Wolf explaining that Border Patrol detained 68 illegal aliens who popped up on the FBI’s terrorism watchlist this year.
A shocking 12 terrorists were caught in August alone.
“So the numbers continue to get worse with the Biden administration because they simply are not doing one fundamental thing and that is enforcing the law and bringing deterrence into that system,” Wolf pointed out. “If individuals are not afraid of getting caught because they are getting released into the country and never removed, guess what, you will continue to see the numbers that we do every day.”
Wolf says the Biden regime and its lax enforcement policies serve as nothing less than a green light for illegal aliens who want in.
“They are removing less and less individuals,” Wolf added. “I think they are at an all-time low in the amount of individuals they are targeting and arresting. Because at the end of the day, the Biden administration don’t like to enforce border security, and they don’t like to enforce immigration law.”
Meanwhile, Vice President Kamala Harris’ role as the regime’s “border czar” is nothing more than a joke.
“I think she has been a complete disaster, not only for the root causes,” Wolf said of Harris. “But she’s a border czar. I’m not really sure what her job is at the end of the day.”
In reality, her search for the “root causes” of illegal immigration has merely served as an excuse for a vacation to Honduras.
Meanwhile the real cause is Harris and Biden’s absolute refusal to do their jobs as executives and actually enforced the law.
