Trump landed one shocking multi billion dollar deal that has America’s tech enemies fuming

Trump secures historic 5GW AI campus deal with UAE, positioning American tech companies to dominate the Middle East while blocking Chinese influence in a major foreign policy win.

Donald Trump wasted no time putting America First with foreign policy initiatives.

His administration is making major international waves.

And Trump landed one shocking multi billion dollar deal that has America’s tech enemies fuming.

Trump engineers massive AI deal with UAE

President Donald Trump is once again proving that he’s a master dealmaker on the global stage.

On Thursday, Trump traveled to Abu Dhabi where he unveiled a groundbreaking technology partnership between the United States and the United Arab Emirates that will cement American AI dominance for years to come.

The massive 5-gigawatt AI campus in Abu Dhabi is set to become the largest artificial intelligence facility outside of the United States.

The sprawling 10-square-mile facility was unveiled at Qasr Al Watan in the presence of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

“Today’s agreement is a testament to the ongoing collaboration between our countries in artificial intelligence,” said UAE AI Council Chairman Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the ceremony. “It is an expression of the UAE’s commitment to pioneering innovation and fostering global collaboration in artificial intelligence.”

The groundbreaking facility positions America’s tech companies at the heart of the Middle East and gives them direct access to nearly half the world’s population.

Secretary Lutnick: Deal delivers “Trump’s vision for U.S. AI dominance”

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, who joined Trump at the ceremony, emphasized the historic nature of the partnership.

“Today’s agreement launches an historic middle eastern partnership on AI between our two nations,” Lutnick said. “It promotes major investment in advanced semiconductors and data centers across the U.S. and the UAE.”

The deal includes a framework called the “US-UAE AI Acceleration Partnership” that will deepen cooperation between the nations on artificial intelligence technologies.

What makes the deal particularly significant is that American companies will operate the data centers and offer cloud services throughout the region.

“By extending the world’s leading American tech stack to an important strategic partner in the region, this agreement is a major milestone in achieving President Trump’s vision for U.S. AI dominance,” Lutnick added.

Deal leaves China in the dust

The massive AI campus deal comes at a crucial time as America races against China and other competitors to establish global leadership in artificial intelligence.

While not explicitly mentioned in the announcement, the deal effectively blocks Chinese AI expansion in the region and ensures American companies will hold the technological advantage.

The UAE is implementing stringent measures to prevent technology diversion and ensure controlled access, working alongside the United States to enhance “Know-Your-Customer” protocols. These measures will regulate access to computing resources, which are reserved exclusively for US hyperscalers and approved cloud service providers.

This deal represents a significant setback for China’s ambitions to expand its technological influence in the Middle East and Africa.

America’s tech future secured

The UAE-US AI campus will utilize nuclear, solar, and gas power to minimize carbon emissions and will include a science park driving advancements in AI innovation. Phase 1 of the project has already broken ground with a 1-gigawatt AI datacenter, with the full 5-gigawatt capacity to be developed in stages.

The UAE has positioned itself as an AI pioneer, having appointed the world’s first federal Minister of Artificial Intelligence in 2017 and established the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence in 2019.

This partnership showcases Trump’s ability to secure America’s technological future while strengthening ties with strategic allies. By positioning American companies at the heart of AI development in a region that can serve nearly half the world’s population, the deal ensures that the United States will maintain its technological edge over competitors.

The agreement is just the latest example of Trump’s America First approach delivering tangible results on the global stage. While previous administrations allowed China to gain ground in critical technologies, Trump is securing American dominance in the industries that will define the future.
