CNN’s Jim Acosta became a star by constantly harassing Donald Trump during his presidency.
However, since Trump has left the White House, Acosta’s fame seems to be dwindling.
And now, Trump supporters let this CNN anchor know what they really think with two simple words.
Thousands recently gathered in Orlando, Florida, for the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).
Not surprisingly, the 2024 CPAC straw poll showed that Trump still has a base, and it’s a big one.
CPAC was undoubtedly the place to be for Trump loyalists.
Still continuing to look for a few minutes in the limelight, fake news figures roamed the halls of CPAC, largely unwelcome by the conference attendees.
However, few were as unwelcomed as Jim Acosta.
The years covering Trump made Acosta a target of the former president’s supporters at rallies and other events.
Like many others in the left-wing media, Acosta has made a number of enemies among the Trump base, and those enemies aren’t afraid to show their disdain for him.
As Acosta wandered through the conference, an enormous crowd formed around him and chanted “CNN sucks” and “Fake News.”

Needless to say, Acosta was furious.
Why Acosta thought he’d be welcomed with open arms by the very people he attacked for four years is anyone’s guess.
The crowd didn’t stop at chants; they also bombarded Acosta with uncomfortable questions.
A reporter from the Federalist confronted Acosta about CNN’s coverage, or lack thereof, of Andrew Cuomo’s recent scandals.
CNN has been mostly silent on the nursing home COVID deaths and sexual harassment scandals facing the Democrat Governor of New York Andrew Cuomo, and most assume it’s because the network’s golden child is the Governor’s brother.
In the last few months, CNN’s Chris Cuomo has conducted softball interviews with his brother Andrew and never once asked the Governor anything of substance.
Acosta, as expected, refused to answer the questions.
Not one to remain quiet, though, and a lover of Twitter, Acosta tweeted out, “I thought they were against cancel culture.”
Clearly, Mr. Acosta doesn’t understand cancel culture.
