Fox News’ Tucker Carlson is one of the most top-rated hosts in the entire nation.
Carlson’s popularity is due in large part to the fact that he’s willing to speak his mind and tell the truth without holding back.
And Tucker Carlson just called out this former Fox News host for one surprising reason.
After working at Fox News since 1996, Shepard Smith left the network in the fall of 2019 to go work for the Fake News Media outlet CNBC.
Before leaving Fox News, Shepard Smith and Tucker Carlson had an internal feud over their political beliefs.
The more liberal-minded Shepard Smith attacked Carlson over his pro-Trump views, but Carlson fired back and ripped Smith as nothing more than a Democrat hack pretending to be a journalist.
Management eventually sided with Tucker Carlson, which led to Shepard Smith leaving in the fall of 2019 to work for Fake News CNBC.
But on a recent episode of his show, Tucker Carlson once again blasted Shepard Smith after he whined on the air about a video from a supermarket in Florida where employees and patrons were not wearing masks.
“Last night, this same investigative journalist – now an anchor at CNBC – broke the story of a lifetime. If Pulitzer Prizes still mattered – they don’t – this would get a Pulitzer. You’ve seen the Zapruder film, you’ve seen the moon landing, you’ve never seen anything like this,” Carlson began before playing the clip of Smith whining over people not wearing masks.
But Carlson didn’t stop there.
“Maybe when you spend 30 years reading scripts about car chases, everything seems like a car chase,” Carlson continued. “The problem is, not everything is a car chase, sometimes it’s just people smiling at each other in a grocery store. Sorry, overheated news guy. That’s not actually news.”
At Fox News, Shepard Smith stood out as a left-wing propagandist among conservatives at the network.
Now that he’s outside the Fox News bubble, Smith’s show at CNBC is struggling to gain traction in the ratings.
